I think that if you're going to listen to pop music, you may as well listen to something GOOD. ABBA for example.
Dolly Parton is pretty un-goth too (though I think som did a cover of Jolene, which makes the song even MORE awsome.) Kraftwerk are pretty good too. Basically all techno stems from them.

Most of my music library isn't gothy. My favourite band is Foo Fighters. Dave Grohl is 'my hero'...ugh, what a bad pun haha.

I think the most not-goth-related music I listen to is currently K.I.Z.. German HipHop. I usually hate it, but their lyrics are so hilarious.
And I listen to a lot of movie soundtracks like Chocolat, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Kill Bill... And sometimes I just feel like "Sunshine, Lollipops, and Rainbows and everything that's wonderful is what I feel when we're together..." *sings*
Ah yeah, and I love medieval stuff like Corvus Corax or die Streuner, which most people probably wouldn't consider goth... well... I do
