oh oh and britney spears's blackout. now, before everyone decapitates me with a relatively blunt object id like to speak in my defense: the album is less poppy and more techno-y, and dudes, cmon now, the bitch shaved her head and lost her sons in a court of law because shes so insane, and her new album has pictures of her seducing a priest...how bad can she be?

I wouldn't freak out about it. I don't actually give a hoot about her, but I do like a few of the songs off that album.

Britney Spears.

Can you see her as a goth? I know I can't

(unless I wanted my eyeballs to bleed down my face and crawl away in agony)

My "un-gothiest' and i listen to... hmmm.... I'm not sure xD Most likely Kate Nash or Lily Allen XD Only Because my Best friend (I've known her all my life, i don't know how we turned out so differently) Adores them XD Though its a rule we don't moan about each other music

And i'm not ashamed to like Lily Allen's 'Oh my god' (The song she did with mark ronson)

My current un-gothiest would be Mike Oldfield, Enigma, and Utada.

Let me see. . .

[x] Lily Allen [how can you not love her vindictive streak?!]
[x] Depeche Mode [I've heard some people link them with goth, but I beg to differ]
[x] NIN [that's right, in my "ungoth" list -- as should be]
[x] Tori Amos
[x] Vienna Teng
[x] Oasis
[x] Smashing Pumpkins
[x] Hole
[x] Alice In Chains
[x] Coldplay
[x] Moby
[x] Bif Naked
[x] Crossed Keys
[x] Portishead
[x] Loreena McKennitt

. . . . I know that there are more. . .

Basically, if it sounds good, I will listen to it. Goth music may be my favorite, but I don't snob off other good music because of it ;-)

Jeff Buckley. And a lot of genres inbetween. But bluesy rock is about as far from darkwave as I get. I like a kiwi band called Lucid 3 as well who are also very 'funkey'. It's just great music to do housework too and get some groove on too

Hmm, apt.

It's not cheesy or pointlessly dramatic.

I listen to a very wide variety of artists from every genre, but I suppose the one band I listen to most often that is extremely far from being goth is Interpol.
