am i the only one that hates it?
i don't mean to be a bitch or anything, i just don't like the day.
it's not that i don't have a boyfriend. because if i wanted one, trust me i can get one.
but i hate it cause everyone walks around like the world is one happy place and its not. it's a hell whole.
and i hate the colors. red i can handle, put pink. no funkin' way

I love how people walk around saying that life isn't happy. It can be, in your reality. The whole point is making the most of what you have, and not worrying about what others have to go through. Life is like a game of Russian Roulette, you just have to appreciate the times when you don't get shot, if you will.

That's stupid. I also dislike much of the idea of St. Valentine's, but it's definitely not because of an unbased angsty teenage declaration that the world is dark and hell on earth.

The world is a magical place full of miracles and tragedies and dreams. The only people that think it's a sad world are those that cannot accept they're mere specks in it and the only people that think it's a small world are those that cannot think how to get out of their social circle.
There isn't even anything wrong with having a day to express love and friendship a little more, uncreative as it may be that everyone does it in the same day. But the problem is that the only way most people seem to know how to express their feelings is by feeding the entertainment industry.

I hate Valetine's Day as well. Unlike you, I CAN'T get a boyfriend. I don't feel ready to yet (I'm only 14 turning 15 soon). The world is NOT a happy place. I hate colours as well.

Minutes before I read this, I said just that to my Mom. She hates when I swear. XD My Mom wanted me to wear a red and pink dress for our "little family Valentine dinner".

i don't judge others on how their outward apreience looks.
i just said i hate v-day and what it stands for.
a lot of my friends are preps, put they are cool people.

I like that part about magical place full of miracles etc.
Some times you just have too look at things a bit closer to understand how beautiful some things really are.
And the part about us being little specks on this planet. Yup that's exactly how I think about it too. After all not every one on this planet is actually celebrating valentines day. I bet (and am guessing I'm right) that the hungry ppl in Africa and gawd knows where else probably don't even know of this "st Valentines day".
Jeeze some ppl just take these days of celebration of something that means more to some and nothing to others a bit too serious. chill out. if you don't like it, why do you care about it enough to make a post about it. Jeeze pfft!
