First of all… I appreciate the sarcasm in the FAQ.
Secondly, I’m actually not a goth. I’m here to learn.
I should probably tell you about my dark past, although dark seems a little misleading in this context: I recently got out of my secret emo phase. I decided I’m too old to bathe in my emotions and want to discover the essence of goth (sorry, I’m not trying to sound poetic, my English is just not that good and I don’t know how to say this in other words).
Yes, I listen to some goth music, but this only started this year. I went to a gothic party clubbing music event thing and I felt at home. So now I’m here to learn about the culture. I always liked everything dark, scary, weird, and broken. I study German literature - I especially like the kind of reading that psychoanalysts have the most fun with, although I think Freud is overrated.
So that’s a few things about me.
Please don’t be mean. At least not more than I deserve.
