Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Not my taste I'm afraid. HIM aren't goth and neither are Daft Punk.
Hell I'm a peace punk and I know this.

What is Goth, anyway? Andrew Eldritch does not regard himself as Goth, whereas most Goths regard The Sisters of Mercy as Goth! Confused?
HIM were heavily influenced by Fields of the Nephilim and they even invited Carl and his current crop of musicians to perform at the Helldone festival in 2007. Apparently, Ville Vallo was at the Shepherds Bush Empire gigs last year...I probably brushed shoulders with him and not even realised it!
As Carl Douglas McCoy would say...It's all music, why label it?

Says you, but I have my opinions on the subject, just as well as you do.

Normally, we don't have music on when my hubby and I get down 'n' dirty.

Mr Snorkel and I don't usually have music playing, but it's certainly playing in my head...♫Oh! Sweet mystery of life at last I've found you!♫
Ok, last time it was Hollow Hills. Rather a slow song, and it didn't match the tempo of what we were doing at all. Can't be helped; I don't control the earwig part of my brain.
