Talking Gospel of Filth

So I know that Cradle of Filth's genre can be pretty controversial (goth v. metal, black metal v. goth metal, etc) but I love them. I love their lyrical styling, Dani, their beats, Dani, their style, Dani.....

I finally tracked down a copy of Gospel of Filth which he wrote with Gavin Baddely. I am so excited about it and just had to share! Anyone else have a copy/love Cradle?

I love Cradle of Filth!! If I had more money I would buy every single album, play them until they wore out, repeat. Also, do you know if they have LP's? I think that would be awesome!

Morpheus13,

Cradle Of Filth have a discography going back to the early 1990`s, and if your looking for Vinyl (as your looking for LPs) then Amazon.com will have some for you, as well as everything they have released on CD too.

Another good place for buying extreme music like Cradle Of Filth is ...

http://www.nuclearblast.de/en/shop/index.html

This is their US website if your in the USA ...

http://store.nuclearblastusa.com/

The first album I`d reccomend is their debut album (which is their best piece of work in my opinion) `Principle Of Evil Made Flesh` and then the `Vempire` EP (both on Cacophonous records I think) !!!.

Cacophonous records

Happy hunting !!!.

Cradle of Filth are awesome :3 I will always love the first album best, not had a chance to sample their newest one though, sadly enough.

The newest one actually has a few songs that I don't care for. But overall a good album. Not that I'm surprised at all. They're all good.

Cradle have a few gems, but as a whole, they're too cheesy for me.

I used to love cradle of filth a lot between 2008-2009, but since then I have moved to other bands that play a similar genre. I still have every album on my PC, even Darkly Darkly Venus Aversa. My favorite one would be "Dusk... and Her Embrace", but their EP "V Empire" is also awesome. Symphonic black metal is still my favorite musical genre though, and as long as they keep playing anything reminiscent of it I will keep checking them out.

The Gospel Of Filth is my favourite non-fiction book. It's filled with fascinating information, a lot of which is hard to find online. The subjects range from Algernon Swinburne to The Hellfire Club, the English witch hunts to The Brothers Grimm. I adore it. A must for anyone who loves the band and anything dark.
