Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Haha, I love that you posted this.. just the other day, I told my friend I was thinking about getting a tattoo based on this book
(probably the bat) because it was the first book I ever read all by myself (age 4).

Awesome In which case I say lets both go for it, never read that book also but would have and now definitely want to. And speaking of cute little creepy media, anyone here familiar with "The Little Vampire"? Am trying to remember another Halloween themed childrens book also but drawing a blank.., basically it featured trick or theaters stopping at the homes of real monsters. And speaking of the 90s in general, I always wanted one of those "make your own creepy bug candy!;o" machines but that wish never came true

waaah. My Industrial keeps getting crusty. I can't find a good way to clean it.
Here's what I've done so far: squeezing cotton balls of saline to rinse it off, swabbing with saline soaked q-tips, splashed saline with the squeeze bottle of saline and soaking with my head sideways and ear in little cup filled with saline.
Any suggestions for how to take care of this thing a little easier?
One more complaint: yesterday I was getting dressed too quickly and my bra got caught on my right nipple piercing. YEEEOOOWCH!!! Thankfully it didn't get completely pulled out, but it has still been particularly tender and bled a little bit at cleaning time last night =(

Take some ibuprofen for the pain. Just keep washing your piercings twice a day(morning and night) until they are completely healed.

My problem is finding a workplace where some showing of tattoos is appropriate. I have a few discreet ones, but I really miss my piercings. I had my nose pierced but it got ripped out in a car accident, and I used to have a monroe, but a former job made me take it out. Not even a clear stud, and I was selling magazine by telephone. I got tired of it hurting to re-pierce it and create scar tissue, so I let it heal. I'm wondering if I can get away with it at my new job...

I laughed.
And now I'm going to find excuses to put the term "dandy" into my conversations.

I feel like after 3+ years of stretching I should be at a way bigger size than 00g. Now I have to start taping and I just don't want to.

I've been stretching for about 4 1/2 and I'm only at a 0g.
Granted, I stayed at 4g for the longest time, and then only stretched up when I bought wooden earrings at a 2g and they just fit, and then stretched again when my 2g tunnels started slipping around.
When these become loose, I'll just buy 00's, and so on and so on. Haha
Taping does seem like such a hassle though-__-

I tried once and I could never get the tape to be smooth and even. It was like rough steps and it hurt my ears. Then I gave up.
I was thinking about doing the same you're doing, just wait til they get loose but it's weird. Some days my plugs will just fall right out, over the flare, and other days it's a struggle to get it back into my ear without cleaning. Guess I gotta be ready for those good moments to stuff the new ones in. Good luck with yours.

I have 15 tattoos and I'm planning to get more. I used to have a lot of piercings but I took them out.

I've been meaning to get a stick-and-poke tattoo on my thigh that just says "The Smiths" in someone else's drunken handwriting for a while now...

Ok, what do you guys know about black light tattoos?
I've been thinking about getting wings done on my hands and maybe some words on my face in black light ink.
Yes I'm under black lights enough for it to matter.

Last I heard, they were toxic. I don't know how bad the ink they're using these days is. Maybe they're using something safer, now?

If nothing else, it's a testament to my (unhealthy) devotion... I wouldn't tattoo any other band name on my body, I can assure you!
Anyway, we're already off to a pitiful, crooked start!:
(If you couldn't tell, I'm a total pseudo-ginger).
I need to be really drunk if I am going to poke myself enough times for 9 teeny tiny letters... and just that T needs a lot of work. I'm sure the tiny lettering will look great in a few years when it's all hazy and indiscernible.
