Shoulder adjustments, adding sleeves, and so forth

Does anyone have any good advice on these topics? I have a pretty narrow frame for my size and sleeves and shoulders often end up sitting funny on me. A particular problem is that the distance from the shoulders to the bustline is too long, which just never works out well. I've got some very nice looking tops that just won't quite sit right.

Might want to Google t shirt surgery?

There are ways of making them smaller, narrower or less boxy as well as any other alteration you might want. This might be the sort of thing you need http://nikkishell.typepad.com/wardro...g-surgery.html

Not bad, although I'd probably need more help with necklines. The neckline there would work great for t-shirts but not for the sort of stuff I wear.

I'm not sure if that would help, but I think that epaulettes might do their work:

You need to sew in bust darts. These are like sewn in folds in the fabric- usually from.near the armpit , along the side of the bust. Id look for a tutorial specifically for bust darts.
