That's Cool. I want one.

After seeing this I'm now curious...
Is this coin going to be in general circulation?
And is the £2 coin a commonly used coin?
I'm embarrassingly unfamiliar with the currency systems over there.

Do you mean Oregon, or Washington?
A good friend of mine moved to Oregon state some years back.
This year she shared some pictures of the white Christmas they had.

Hoth is where the Heart is...

Because of 'Snowzilla' the Blizzard of 2016.
Home has become 'Echo Base'.

Anise,

Ballywalter looks like a beautiful place.
I think those aerial drone videos are very cool.
(And I liked the Floydy music. It worked well with the footage.)

These days this is home, but I've always loved it here.
And as soon as I got my drivers licence I was headed this way as often as possible.
There is an energy here that is unlike any I've felt elsewhere.

This whole area is alive with small tributaries. Like ancient life nourishing veins,
they wind through the wooded hills. Finally pouring themselves into the Patapsco.
A place, in which I have spent a BIG chunk of my life...
Fishing, or just walking around in the woods. Exploring. Learning.
I love the Patapsco in the way one loves an old friend.
If I go too long without hearing her voice, or seeing her face... it starts to hurt.

I'm like that with the sea, an ache if I'm away for too long.
Lovely footage Pri; I love travelling without moving
Just back from a beach run in teeming icy rain lol, so I imagine I'll be horizontal soon. Great to see snow! I'm coastal, so we don't really get snow but the odd winter we'll get it inland. It's so magical and pristine Makes me feel like a lil' kid inside.
Loving those stone buildings and yaaay TREES!

Looks like a beautiful place, I'll bet it's amazing in summer ~
Exploring, camping and the like .. forests and rivers <3 beautiful!

While the Alamo City is known mostly for the bloody Alamo (Pro-tip: if you visit, don't just wander the downtown area. It's literally the biggest tour trap in the U.S.) I recently took advantage of some of the other local Colonial Spanish missions in the area for my engagement photos.

Here's the government webpage: https://www.nps.gov/saan/learn/histo...dahistory1.htm

Cool Pics BourbonBoy.

My grandfather lived in Texas for years, and used to tell me about all the lizards on his property. I regret never going down to see it myself.
I've heard that even though it gets hot, it doesn't feel as bad as it does here because of the low humidity.

Congratulations on the engagement.

Thanks!

A lot of it depends on which part of the state you live in. San Antonio is very humid in the spring/early summer while from July to September (and occasionally into October) rises to the mid-90's to triple digits. In El Paso where Alan lives it's actually quite nice year round, but very dry while Houston in East Texas is super humid almost year round since it's on the coast.

I don't mind the heat, I just prefer dry heat. For hairy bastards like myself, shaving and waxing becomes a necessity 9 months of the year here.

Two reported fatalities so far.
It's going to take a long while for the hood to get back to normal.
