HumanePain has arrived, soft or hard landing is up to YOU

1. What do you do?
listen to Lacuna Coil whist writing Gothic love stories
oh, and have a freakin' day job like everyone else.

2. Where are you from?
my Mother (the woman is a Saint. She wasn't always obviously, but she is now. I gave her a promotion)

3. Who is your favorite author?
torn betwixt Sir Francis Bacon, Sir Issac Newton, Dan Brown, Edgar Allen Poe, Issac Asimov, Sir Arthur C. Clarke (a lot of Sirs and Issacs i know, the English rock when it comes to gothic literature, fiction and non-fiction), Plato, Seneca, Nietzsche, Apostle Matthew, Epicurus, Larry Niven, ok ok i kow it was supposed to be the *fav* but...so what, i love 'em all.

4. What are your favorite films?
Again, so many! Stigmata, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Beautiful Mind, original War of the Worlds, original Time Machine, original King Kong (black and white. yes, i am THAT old, closer to the grave than any of ya young punks. Yes, there are middle age Goths, both men and women, and the women are so HAWT)

5. What music do you want played at your wedding? Lacuna Coil's *Humane*

6. At your funeral? Laucuna Coil's *Humane*

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Going to buy a classic Gothic tombstone, buy a plot, buy a modern, purple plexiglass casket with black stripe around the center, and chrome trim and hinges, real high tech looking, like a sleeping chamber from *Alien*, climb in it, and OD on Vicodin.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Ooops already answered, see above.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
My Trash brand pants, "In Goth We Trust" t-shirt, chrome buckle belt, my necklace with freakin' forty crucifixes on it (with blue and purple jewels)...you get the idea.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
uh...i really don't miss being a kid, being a kid sucked.

11. What's your favorite band?
Lacuna Coil. duh.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
h.s. grad, 1 year of JC, electronics, but switching to physics with emphasis on optics, 'cause lasers ROCK.

13. Why did you join?
i like looking at coffins, cemeteries, writing gothic love stories (chick works in a funeral home, and her boyfriend catches her napping in a warm plush coffin on a cold day, he kisses her to wake her up...or they make out at night in a cemetery...you get the idea)

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
My DNA has XY chromosomes.

You would have loved this site a couple of months ago. But nevertheless, I hope you enjoy the present just as much.

Hey, just stopping by to say hello. There are others here who do love Lacuna Coil. I was fortunate ecough to see them last year at The Masquarade in Tampa where they opened for Type O Neg.. Needless to say it was an awesome show. I've read a few of your posts in the Literature section and have enjoyed them. You have some talent for writting. Anywho, it's nice to meet you.

(jealous fury) you lucky dawg! I will see them next year, I hope. I came back from a business trip this year the day after their last show in San Diego. (July 24) Grrrr...

Thanks for the kind words on my stories. I have a ways to go, I am humbled by the talent I have read here by others, but their writing inspires me.

The only part of Florida I have been to was Orlando, and that was for business, I didn't even have time for Disneyworld. But what I did see was beautiful and very, very green compared to brown old California.

See you around.

Cheers.

We both did Poupee, and I know you did too. Darkbender just popped my Intro back to the top to say hello. That is the friendly thing to do.
Now I am glad you dropped by too.

Ah well, while it's up...

HumanePain=fun!!

You so rock! (where did my socks go?)

...and as partially random as this is, I keep forgetting that my namesake is a philosopher, so every time I see his name it's always
:: shock!:: I really have to read up on more than the basics about Seneca...

::diggin' in the books...::

I shall be investigating it...

Well it has been a long strange 11 years and I'm still here, but sorry to say that Gnet is in its final stages of decay, as there are many broken links and folders with permissions problems. If you try to look at your own statistics, all posts, all threads etc, they're broken too. Seems no one is maintaining the place any more. I can't even edit my own blog without "forbidden" errors. So long everyone. See you in the great beyond.

All it would take is the most minor bit of admin intervention to solve the problem... thats what bugs me the most about it.

You'd think we all moved on with our lives, but something about this site keeps bringing me back. Too bad it's not active anymore.

Well for some gods forsaken reason I've been exhumed...

Any of the old guard sleeping lightly enough to be roused? We shall see I suppose.

As much as things change, they stay the same.

I still, of course, bitterly dispise you all, and miss you too.

Hey there, HarryHaller. You were glad a bit too soon. Take another look. HumanePain is not here. This is just his final resting place.

Now who the hell are you and what are you doing in this graveyard, mister "HarryHaller"?
