Screenshots of your desktop

Take the opportunity to show off your shiney/cool/boring/ugly/whatever screenshots of your desktop. If you like, post the OS/distro/version you're using, as well as any cool gui programs and things you made yourself.

This one is on Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE 4.1. The line of icons at the bottom is Avant-Window-Manager, the widgets are Plasma, and I made the desktop background myself.

What's the point of any of the game threads? Or the picture post? It's just random sharing on the part of the poster and idle curiosity on the part of the reader. :P For my part, I find it interesting to see what other people do with their computers.

These games are for a few reasons:
-Entertainment
-To get post number up
-Curiousity

maybe other stuff.
