Damn that is a lot less hair! How much did he cut off? I like it but I think it need a bit of color on the short fuzzy bit.

He probably cut off a good pound or two of hair.. there was A LOT.
I'm still trying to decide whether to henna my hair, or just attack it with Manic Panic.

If you visit I'll do it for you, I wish I could make it up but for the next few weeks I need to be able to show up for an interview on rather short notice and I can't do that if I'm in LoCo.

Been away from the board for awhile but was hoping you all might be able to give me some advice.
My hair is wavy and fine but I have alot of it. Recently I went from this
http://i356.photobucket.com/albums/o...e/IMG_6414.jpg
to this
http://i356.photobucket.com/albums/o...d85147bd78.jpg
I doubt I will go back to black right now, most likely I'll go darker red or purple. I would like to rock a d'hawk but also want to be able to wear my hair down and look somewhat normal/girlie when needed (I voulenteer at a school for disabled children 2x a week).
Any suggestions?

Well, it's easy. Make sure that you don't take too much off of the sides, probably no higher than your temples, you can always take more off if you want. all you gotta do to look like a pesentable human being is style your hair as normal and put a middle parting in, rather than backcombing it up. Really, really easy.

Yea, as long as you don't go too high up on the sides you can wear it down and look fine. I wear mine down a good amount, and people that don't know me don't even know that my sides are shaved. Right now I usually only put it up for special times because I need to suck it up and get better, and therefore more expensive, products. I experimented with Knox liberty spikes and they looked really cool, I think with practice Knox would work amazingly.

my post is totally out of time
goes like this
got my hawk, with shaved sides, tiny little death hawk
grew it out, it got longer, then i grew the sides back a bit
i bleached them after a while, then dyed them pink
then bleached it again, then dyed it purple
then after a while, the sides grew out and i cut my hair again
into the wider shorter death hawk with the blonde sides
then after a while i cut it again into the nick marsh/robert smith hairstyle
then after a little while again, i buzzed the sides down but kept it black
and thats where im at now
my hawk is about 3 or 4 inches now i think
3 1/2 probably
it started at like 2 inches from the start
then got to about 10 inches tall in less than a year
then i cut it to about 3 or 4 inches
then i cut it again into the Nick Marsh hair style
then i buzzed the sides and now im at about 3 or 4 again
and im just going to grow this one
grow grow grow

How do you even remember all that?
I can barely recollect what my hair colour was two months ago.

I am thinking of going ,,deathhawk'' too. But I am not sure if it will suit me.
I only need some money for colors, hairsprays, etc. xD
What do you think?

Also, lose the black lipstick. Serious.

Black lipstick looks fantastic on Darlin' Grave, but it is rather unflattering on most people.

Hi! I'm looking for sites that give tips for 'deathhawk' hair and loads of pictures. I also need pictures showing the hair down normal ie after washing hair to see how much the upper hair covers the bit of hair shaven.

I'm thinking of getting a death-hawk but I have some things I'm concerned about...
1. My hair is a bit past my shoulders in back and at my chin in front, but its layered due to some breakage so some hairs are shorter than others all over...
2. My hair is quite thin...
Will a death-hawk work for me?
Heres a link to a currentish pic...

I'd better post this before you all get pitchforks and torches and I get chased out of this forum too.
I basically have the same question as Jakk... except my hair is kinda short (around 4 inches), probably medium thickness and its layered. here's some current pics. sorry I look so bad, didn't have time for makeup (also sorry for looking like a boy) not sure if I can post links, that's why I used tiny url, it'll probably be a case of having to copy/paste the link into your browser's address bar.

is there a way to tell if a mohawk would look good on someone or not? how wide do you guys suggest for my face shape for this mohawk?
