I'm getting a punk variation of a short deathhawk. I can't really describe it well, type in USA by the Exploited on youtube and look at the vid. The guy with the short, red, fluffy mohawk.

I think that's just a mohawk on a guy with really curly hair that hasn't put it up.
Regardless, I know the hair you mean and it looks awesome.
What colour?

OM, your hair is long enough, you should get a deathhawk. As honeythorn said in your other thread, your hair is lengthening your face even more, so you should change the style around a bit.
Take a flick through the pages in this thread, especially around the start, there's step-by-step guides there on how to cut and style the hawk if you don't know what to do. Plus, this thread is a haven for awesome hair, so there's loads more people you can take inspiration from.
I'm actually thinking of getting a deathhawk myself, but I think my face is too chubby, haha.

Yeah my face is long. I tryed backcombing my hair, but it was a pain in the ass to get the knots out. so, I would only back comb once and a while.
What is the style that Malice has? it is really nice. I want that.
Aww, don't be so hard on yourself, you are probably fine.

Either a very wide death hawk or a thin mohawk would work. Anything that counteracts your long face. For you, maybe a nice wide deathhawk would look good. Plus side of that is you can comb it down to cover up the shaved parts for work.

It looks like he put it up, look at the sides. But either way, you know what I mean. I'm thinking bright fuck off red. Pictures will be when I finally get it. No, I won't rick roll you all this time.

I was thinking of doing something ratical with my hair like cutting it to a shorter length, dying it blue then spiking it or a hawk like Malices.
Can someone tell me how to do it like Malice does it? I love his 'hawk
Thanks

I'm not sure if I want to have a deathhawk.
Pros:
It would look awesome.
It would be fun and new.
It's the end of my senior year, people would remember me. :P
My friends think that it would look good.
Cons:
A LOT of people seem to have them.
Monies needed for good hair products to avoid looking like an idiot.
Small chance it might interfere with finding a summer job.
Would have to adapt my schedule and daily routine by giving myself more time to actually do my hair every day.
What do you think? (I am female, if that influences your opinion at all.)

I have a deathhawk.
A lot of people have deathhawks, even more have regular boring haircuts. You can also make a deathhawk a lot more interesting with different colours, cuts and hair accessories.
My boyfriend and I combined spend no more than $10 a month on hair products.
Keep the hawk down and part it down the middle to hide your sides, then getting a job shouldn't be too hard.
You don't have to put it up every day (flipping it to the side with a light tease usually looks good), and once its up you can keep it that way for days at a time. I spent more time fiddling with arse-length hair than I do with a hawk.
I think you should just get one.

Okay, I think that I'm going to wait until next week when I go back to school and have the Cosmetology students cut and dye my hair My sister and her friend want to do it right now, but I don't trust them with shaving any part of my head, lol.

How long should your hair be before putting it up? And also, when shaving the side areas is it all apparent when you put it down, for example could I wear one down at school without teachers noticing?

It covers up well, as long as your hair is long enough. Especially if you leave the sides the same colour as the top.

Would you happen to have any pictures of it down to compare with it being up?

Erm, no but I can take some now. Also I don't really try to cover up the sides when it's down normally.

Yeah mine doesn't really cover fully.
I think Haunted has at least one picture of him with his hawk down on here somewhere too.

Thanks for this, hopefully by keeping my hair one colour it won't be noticeable. Though now looking at it in this way I'll have to grow it more.

Don't stress too much about hiding it. If your hair's all one colour it really doesn't show, even when the hawk is short. And if it does show, it's not like you'll have your hawk up at school, and teachers are very unlikely to guess that your strange haircut is meant to be worn vertical.
