The goals thread
What goals do you have? They can be long term, or short term.

I'm going to the ISKA World Cup in Sydney in October. My goal is not to get smashed to pieces in my first fight

To get an A and two B's in my exam results. Especially history, I did so much revision for it.
I'm pretty doubtful though.
I'd also like to get into my top choice of university.

To choreograph an amazing expressive dance solo and re-choreograph my technical solo with new music and make it equally amazing. Also, to write some more pages to my damned play.

Finish a few more science subjects, take a leave of absence from Uni, learn patternmaking and proper sewing techinques, then move to London to take a course in costume design. Voila, life planned.
I also want to learn crochet. To make fishnet items, naturally.

Is that refered to me?
If so, I've got to do a foundation course first, but hopefully Aberystwth in Wales. I thought about Golsmiths in London, but when I went there for the open day, it just seemed a bit...scary.

Yeh, sorry I don't always use quotes if I'm typing something about the last comment.
Ooh, good luck. I applied to a university in London too but I didn't like the look of it when I went for an interview.
I kind of failed finding anything productive to do today, unless making plans to go to a pub counts. Long term goals are getting through the rest of my degree and maybe getting a pilot licence. I'd love to fly.

Get my associates ASAP, get into either UArts or Penn University, get behind the wheel of a car without having a panic attack, save my money whenever I get a job, get a studio in Center City one day, join the Peace Corps.

Pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test level one.
It might take my five years, but I seem to be in it for the long haul...

Goal for today: get through my shift without hanging myself from the Greenhouse beams.
Goals for the summer: get through the summer without hanging myself from the greenhouse beams.
Figure out what the hell I should do next year in art class.
Goals for life: Become proficient in all of painting, sculpture and printmaking.
Be able to create the illusion of 3-Dness as well as any of the Old Masters.
Become more intelligent and better-informed.

Mine are two-fold:
1. Learn to be less concerned with my appearance and more able to live in the moment.
2. Become passionate about a hobby that doesn't involve exercise or physical fitness.
