You're not that much paler than I am... And I'm currently paler than I was in my profile pic...
Sucks, doesn't it...? Sigh.. :-/

I'm
-as nocturnal as possible withou missing university lectures
-naturally freckled/pale
-a hothouse plant who doesn't go outdoors if at all possible
-the kind of person who flinches at actual sunlight.
So I've managed to lose colour once again this year! If I have patience, maybe the freckles will be gone in a few more years.

Guanine makes me think of guano.. bat shit. Now THAT would be Teh Gawthness. I would give the nightengale poopies a try if I had some. But I am broke.
I am pale because I have a lot of Celt blood in me. The Native American.. I MUST avoid sun. It's not hard for me since I overheat REALLY easily.

I am naturally very pale as well - actually, my skin's sort of blue-ish.
And it looks even more pale now that I dye my hair intense blue-black. But perhaps it's also because of the copious amount of coffee I consume everyday. And hardly ever going out into the sun.
(it's quite strange - in the mornings my face is especially pale-blue and I tend to get dark circles under my eyes, it sometimes seems like I have this eerie 'undead' thing going on - it only lasts till I shower though )

Try this:
1. Mix in a bowl some plain or flavored yogart and lemen juice.
2. Wash your face to remove makeup and or dirt.
3. Spread the yogart paste onto you face while avoiding the eyes.
4. Leave on for about15-20 minutes.
5. Rinse off with cool water.
This technique I use will cleanse your skin and whiten it. Don't use too much leamon juice or you will blister your skin.

I'm in the process of persuading my mother into getting me a parasol. Not only do I stay out of the sun (indoor arena for riding), but I also use two pale bases. I'm dreading summer. Previous summers I've just gone with a tan, but I've changed drastically over the winter. Will talcum powder work? Lol...

Why not just get a regular umbrella, get some sort of UV protectant spray for it and just decorate it yourself?

Hmm, if you live near Melrose or L.A. and feel like a big ol' pair of fancy pants, why not just hop down to Necromance and take your pick from these: https://id261.securedata.net/necroma...ry=accessories
or
http://www.infectiousthreads.com/extras.htm#umbrellas
(Sadly, you'll have to scroll down to it yourself)
There's little to no need for embellishment with these and this could be something to look into: http://www.krylon.com/main/product_t...roduct_details

It's called Ambi and trust me, you don't unless it's really unfortunate scarring. Why, pray tell, do you want it? Do you not like your natural darkness? If so, it's just sad.

Well, I think I'd want it for the summer because I HATE tanning. I played tennis for three hours everyday and got 1,000 shades darker... but I really like tennis.

If that's the case, just find some foundation with SPF (Clinique or MAC usually have it) or slap on a load of Hawaiian Tropic Ozone/Neutrogena Dry Touch Sunblock.

I'm naturally tanned. It's really a bother sometimes. But I haven't been under the sun for about 7 months so now my skin looks like tallow. Still not fully pale! Just corpse-like

I'm actually curious about different exfoliating techniques to help with the lemon/peroxide treatment mentioned earlier.

Try Nivea Body Whitening Milk or Nivea Visage Multiple Whitening Cream. The second one is specially developed for Asians who want a lighter skin tone, so it whitens quite a bit. I have friends who use it, and it works pretty well. You can't find it in a Walgreens or CVS, but there are a few auctions for both going on at eBay.

My skin is like, terrible. All of my family have pale or pale-ish skin. (my bro. is so pale he looks dead!) My skin tans if I go out in the sun for 5 min. I have very oily skin so I use this treatment:
Lemon Juice on cotton ball.
Wipe face
leave on for a couple of hours or overnight.
Be warned!!! This dries your skin horribly and it WILL flake. It's ok for me because my skin is terribly oily. After you use this be sure to wash out of the shower. Do not shower w/ this on. It will burn!!! wash in a sink and use a face wash and exfoliate.
Do not use
more than 3 days in a row
if u have dry skin
if you have any cuts on ur face or where you are going to use this
Be careful to cover evenly. You could get blotchy.
If it burns or itches REALLY bad (it wil burn some expecially the first time) wash off and stop. the first time just wipe a small amount under your jaw to make sure you don't have a reaction.
For increased whitening wipe it on, wait a few hours, wipe off, repeat several time right after the other. You will be suddenly pale but it can damage your skin. use a moisturiser.

I'm naturally pale as fuck, which I don't enjoy too much. I get burned way too easy and I enjoy the outsides.

I don't think I'd trust anything that lightens skin tone...That is kind of scary.
Just don't go out in the sun if it bothers you that much, and if you do, wear long sleeves and slap on SPF 35.

Or, if you're like me and you can get a tan in moonlight, SPF 80 works well.
I'm finally back to a skin tone I like, and I'm about to ruin it because I have to take my bike to the library and pick up my summer reading assignment...

I stayed out of the sun for two years and still had vague tanlines leftover. This summer though I have been going out swimming and I'm starting to turn an unusually orange tan. I need to get something to whiten my shoulders and back.
