As German is one of my major heritages, I have naturally pale skin (not to mention blond hair, blue eyes). It's to the point where if I went any lighter, I'd blind people.. ..and yesterday, I made the fatal mistake of walking outside for a short while with short sleeves.. my arms are all red, now. I'm too sensitive to sun.

I don't like my skin like this. It'll fade back to pale white almost within 3-4 days, but I'm impatient..

I'm the same, except with freckles. I've got German, Scottish, Irish, English, Welsh, and French in me so I am prone to all varieties of paleness. :P

My arms get slightly pinked/burned just driving in the car for 30 min. LOL.

I lust lurve a guy with naturally pale, milky-white skin. back in high school there was this guy I found quite attractive who had that sort of skin, and to go along with it he had naturally black, wavy hair. An exquisite combination.

What about a face with different coloured skin? I forgot this during winter, because then I'm all over pale, but now in the summer, my skin gets...yuck..

My cheeks are pink, under my eyes it's blue and for some reason the rest turns every shade of yellowy brown... I just wonder if it's possible to even this out without bleaching the heck out of my face. Anyone?

In addition to German, I have Scots-Irish and French in me. I also have Native American blood, but that has nothing to do with why I burn so easily.

Uck.. my neck gets it the worst.

It has to dry like a mask. I've only tried it on my face, but you can go ahead and try it on your back and tell us how it goes.

I still swear by the peroxide and lemon juice mix. It has worked so well for me. And it hasn't killed my skin.

Does just applying lemon juice work? I've tried it, but yet am still waiting for the results to show.

It has worked a bit on me, but I have to use it daily, so my skin gets all dry .

But I do like the colour that I am getting now. Hehe..

I GIVE UP! Lemon juice, creams, peroxide, ingested, topical, whatever! Nothing works when you cross the south of France with Mongolians invading Scandinavia!!!!! I need something that works on dark olive skin.

Here is an idea, fill your bathtub up with household bleach and take a bath. Might as well since you obviously don't give a shit about your skin. So you have dark olive skin. Deal with it!

I can not stress this enough don't but lemon juice, bleach, peroxide, Bicarbinate soda, etc on your skin you'll just end up wrinkly, dry, inflamed and sore from all the nasties your putting onto your skin. How would you like to be bleached with a nasty peroxide see it from your skins point of view. If you are going to use a skin bleach buy one from the chemist designed to fade freckles, scars etc.

Stay infront of a computer monitor all day typing, "CD, MKDIR, CD, MKDIR, CD, MKDIR, CHROOT, CHOWN, CHMOD 777, CHMOD 000", and you'll get it.

If you frequently type those commands, why not make a shortcut command for them? I haven't used linux/unix for a while. I'm not overly knowledgable in the subject, but I know you can make those shortcuts, which are especially convienient for little tasks such as mounting drives and what not.

Yeah, I've known about shortcuts, but I can't really use them because I'm using a liveCD (Creative hasn't released drivers for my soundcard yet, and my iPod only lasts so long), which clears out my settings every time I reset the computer. I've got a floppy disc of scripts I use sometimes, but they don't help much.
