BlackGnosis: FIRST POST!

Salutations fellow net peoples whom under the guise of interest happened to find something in the corner of the internet that would bind us all together... hokey shit aside I think I'll utilize that neat template questionnaire.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I create music, I'd like to say I'm doing a IDM and futurepop kind of sound with a touch of trance, but in all honesty I'll make whatever the hell I want, mostly covers, I play synthesizer and guitar and are a total gear geek. I work for an evil corporation whose fortune 500 goals and assets are including ruining hopes and dreams and spreading misery, for those in the know of Sitels business practices, you can empathize, otherwise wait till I'm whiney and stressed enough to bitch in the "WHINING" forum here about work...

As for my less shined upon hobbies, I do role playing games, mainly Iron Claw and BESM d20 with whatever systems float together well, I've got WOD books but since there arent any active games around I dun bother with it.

I'm 27 years old as of the time this was written, and keep to myself a bit.. actually I spent the last few years lurking this site off and on before deciding to become a member and post with the "regulars". I could try to describe myself but just be assuerd I'ma persion with far more hobbies then time and money could easily invest into. Also I spin poi for you spinners here...

2. Where are you from?
I consider myself a resident of the pacific northwest [Oregon and washington] However I currently live in Texas. ina incredibly remote town in the middle of no where...If I drive on any road for about 5-6 hours I'll run into a city of sometime that some one might has remotely heard of...

3. Who is your favorite author?
to say a favorite author does no justice to anyone who writes. I'll let you guys know if I find a bad person who somehow doesn't amount to becoming a favorite..

4. What are your favorite films?
Blade, Star wars, Alien, anything with zombies in it really...

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Frederick Chopin's Nocturne Opus 9 No.2, or the strangly fitting L.V. Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (first movement of course!)

6. At your funeral?
Either Barbers Adajio in strings, P.I. Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1, and fiunish out with A.L. Webber's Music of the night...

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
In a way that would make a person s****** after reading about it in the paper...
8. What kind of casket would you want?
Its cute you'd think there'd be enough of me to fit in a casket.... How about one of those Futurama headjars...
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
<3 My spray painted hoodie and my tripp NYC pants with purple threads and the good ol descorated homebrew work boots Cyber lox [done boystyle k, thnx] and a disabled NBC mask...
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
nothing, it sucked being a kid.
11. What's your favorite band?

Amduscia, Angelspit, Assemblage 23, Ayria, Bauhaus, Clan of Xymox, Code 64, Colony 5, Combichrist, Covenant, Cradle of Filth, The Cruxshadows, The Crystal Method, Das Ich, Disturbed, Edge of dawn, Fields of the Nephilim, Flesh Field, Fractured, Front Line Assembly, Funker Vogt, God Module, Grendel, Haujobb, Hocico, Imperative Reaction, Ivory Frequency, Midnight Syndicate, Mind.In.A.Box, Nox Arcana, Pride and Fall, Psyclon Nine, Rotersand, Skinny Puppy, Seabound, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, Straftanz, Shadows in the Dark [:SITD:], System of a down, Suicide Commando, Throbbing Gristle, Velvet Acid Christ, Victory Not Vengeance Nation, and Wumpscut just to name a few...

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
just tech school stuffs, should major in something nice...or go become a IT...

13. Why did you join?
I heard the chicks were hot... Lawl felt like...not lurking anymore.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
A dude. :o

Ask me bunches of questions I love talking about myself cause maybe I'm narcissistic or histrionic or something....I dunno.

HI FORUM!

Oh I almost forgot, I luff skunks. <3

I like the contrast between the favorite band list and the classical music selections. That's very interesting.

I feel your pain about living in the dust bung of Texas ... I lived in Palestine for a while and being an hour away from just a medium-sized city (Tyler) for a year almost killed me. I'm in Houston now and it's better, but it's still Texas. The move from progressive Oregon to regressive Texas must have been one hell of a culture shock.

I appreciate the fact that you're making music (maybe one of these days you'll post a download link or two). Bet it's hard to find many role-playing gamers where you are now ... but maybe online play presents some opportunities.

Skunks? Really? Eh, to each his own.

Welcome to this place. I look forward to your contributions.

Well most of my stuff I post online now are eitehr covered, half assed projects I never venture to complete or something not serious...

Been thinking about revamping and finishing my cover to The cure's "love song" though.

its before I got a chance to master it and redo my verse vocals, sadly while at work my place was broken into and some punk walked out with my music production computer.....could have taken any of the other ones but no, just the music one.....FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

oh well, heres a link, pardon the fur-links

http://d.facdn.net/art/blackgnosis/m..._3rd_draft.mp3

Cover of mayrilyn mansons Count to six back in early 2005 when I had just a few things to work with

http://d.facdn.net/art/blackgnosis/m...x_and_die..mp3

When I used to compose for IDM style but I fail at coming up with worthwile lyrics... I permit DJ's to use this as long as I am provided statistics on wether the crowd enjoyed it or not, so far only three places I've gone around [mostly in second life] That I've heard this play at....

San angelo has a surprisingly large gamer community here..

I've been trying to download and listen to those mp3's but they're not downloading right. It may be a problem on my end. I'll keep working on it.

furaffinity is a bad place to use as a download hub I admit x.x

I refuse to put it on DA since they honestly fuck over their artists, and they take LEGAL claim to anything you upload to them.

FA says hte links should work, but I've got an american hub restriction, might have to post the main link to the musicstuffs rather then direct download.

Sergei Prokofiev's Montagues and Capulets from Suite No.2 - Romeo and Juliet Opus 64 a fine example of a russian composer whos got a distinctive style... find it on a pinao so you can hear how agressive it can get!
