I wear black because it's plain and i just like dark colors. Also because I like the color and because all my other clothes are a little too bright. ^_^

Hey EPS...I've never seen anyone else but myself type out the sound "NYAH." That's super awesomeness right there.
And most goths wear black because of the stereotype of all Goths being dark and not wanting to associate with bright colors otherwise refered to as the "happy colors."
I personally wear black because it's the best color in the world. And it goes with any other color and for any occasion.

I have never worn black for more than two days straight....except for the one paintball tournament I did....or when I go hunting...other than that, I usually wear a red, green, or blue hawaiian T-Shirt, and some tan Kahki's....
I think Goth's wear black, because what other shade out there can completely blend in against dirt? (Note I said Shade, not Color).

Lots of my friends at school wear Hawaiian shirts *shrug* it just sort of goes with their personalities ^.^ Very sort of... strange, artistic, funny, bohemian, whatever.

Wearing black doesn't necessarily make you a 'goth'. Black is a typical color worn by goths. What makes you think that because other goths wear black, so you should wear black too, this doesnt make you a 'goth' straight away. Gothics stand by what they wear, they dont have to follow other people for fashion tips. In general terms, gothics have their own individual colour-coordination and fashion sense. There are other main factors that contribute to oneself being a 'goth'. The type of clothes or the color(s) of your clothes is not the only aspect in a goth...!
Wear what you WANT to wear...All will be revealed in the clothese you wear...

I don't wear all black very often. Although I usually have some bit of in my attire. I have to choose garmets carefully when I do, because I don't look naturally good in it. It also scares people and attracts attention, which is not nessicarily desirable.
Scariness tends to diminish ones ability to manipulate the bulk of the population, and manipulation is a great way to get what you want.
Attracting attention is not something I need to work on. Being red haired lets me stand out even in a uniformed group of people.
I suppose I'm an undercover goth, then.
