That is sweet! And they're polarized! I want polarized glasses/goggles. You'll be able to see fish under water better.
It would be great if you could turn the lenses, so you could see either only reflections or no reflections.

I say post it anyway. *not so secretly loves AFI*
I should post some of my jewelry on here. I make too much of it and it's currently taking over my room.

I finished my vest today. I don't have pics but I'll describe what I did. I went to Fleet Farm and bought a German BDU top. (they have an awesome military surplus section) I hacked the arms off. I then studded and patced it with 1/2 cone studs, about 125 of em. Bands on the vest are mainly foreign and I love them all:
DISCHARGE (backpatch)
ANTI-CIMEX
CONFUSE
DISCLOSE
GG ALLIN
CHARGED G.B.H
THE VARUKERS
S.O.A.

Nice tshirt Haunted House (old post on previous page)
Can you get a pic Stormtrooper? I'd be interested to see that
I made a vest recently, used a black BDU jacket. Added a zip, a few spikes, and dog lead clip things. Its actually a copy of a vest I tried to buy but it was discontinued. I was going to paint bands on it but I think I might leave it blank. But yeh get a picture please!
BDUs are the US uniform

Thanks. I'm going to be adding a Rubella Ballet patch to them and maybe paint something on them, too. I'll see where it takes me. I never exactly planned out what was going on them in advance. I'll post another shot when they're done.

Well heres the thing. If you buy a new unworn, unwashed article of clothing then the bleach will be bright. If its something old and faded then it takes more and more bleach to get it bright. Thats what makes sprays and splatters hard to get to a desireable result.

I see. My dress shirt was the first thing I ever bleached that was black. When it came out orange, I thought the material they were using was naturally orange.
Oh well. It does look nice, HH.

That would be cool Haunted House. I'm not quite done yet, I've got studs to add.

Haunted, you seem to be our DIY god on these boards, do you have any solid way for me to contact you if I run into troubles on my own DIY projects?

I'm done. I finally finished studding, and I'm happy the way it looks. I've got about 50 studs left over, so I'll just have to find something to do with those. Any ideas? The studs are 1/2" British Cone studs.

I made a necklace and matching bracelet using some jade and glass beads that I found at this really funky little bead shop near school. The best part is that since I made them they fit perfectly ^.^

I replaced all the buttons on my work pants thus saving me the $30 I would have had to spend to buy whole new pants. Not overwhelmingly difficult, nevertheless I'm proud of myself for actually doing it rather than chucking it in my closet to deal with later and then never getting around to it.

Dude, put them around the bottom of one of your pant legs on some jeans or something.

Put them on the pockets of jeans? Round the collar or across the shoulders of another shirt? Put them on a bag maybe?

I recently converted a pair of BDU pants into skinny jeans and dyed black. But, the camo pattern still peeks through the dye a bit.

I need to recover my goggles after taking my father's disastrous advice, to apply masking tape to stop me getting a wobbly line, when painting the lens rims with brass paint. The masking tape ripped the thin cover of the leatherette stuff. I've got big bald grey patches and it now looks shit. Thanks dad <-<
I want to make another band shirt. I'm pleased with my Sisters one despite it's couple of mistakes, everyone thought I'd bought it!
I've got 2 SGC ones already...hmmm who next...
