Do you have any on your wrist already? If not, that is a nice spot to get one. I have an ankh at that spot between my wrist and elbow(for the death of me, I can't remember the english name for that body part)

I got an Ankh for that very reason. It symbolizes life and rebirth, I do not believe I will ever regret getting that.
You could get a picture of Siouxsie Sioux on your arm, that is timeless :p

Aye. I would never get a band tattoo of any sort. Music tastes kinda change throughout your life, so if I grow up to be a fan of pop and classical music only(Hah!!) I wouldn't want a heavy metal band mark carved and inked into my skin.

I don't really have a problem with band tattoos, as long as it's not something grossly hideous, like that chick who wanted Rob Smith on her back.
Pineapple - Yeah, BAF is a sweet site, my piercer said today though that he has a 12mm glass labret he'll give me, as this one's giving me a few problems.
It's 11m now, probably won't go any bigger than a 14mm.
Also, BAF is fucking expensiveeeeee.

If I were ever to get band a tattoo, it would be the Arch Enemy logo for two reasons; it's very discreet and Arch Enemy has meant a lot to me so far in my youth.
I am not gonna get it though.

Lyrics can always work, as long as they're part of a nice composition.
And occasionally symbols/logos, all depending on how recognisable they are and whether they have other meanings.

That's true. If I were to tattoo lyrics on myself, I would take something from 'Stairway to Heaven' or 'Navigate the Seas of the Sun' I suppose.

I have part of a song lyric tattooed on my back. I only opted for the second part of the original line because the first part had the word prostitute in it and I wasn't too keen on having that word inked on my back.
