If 6 was 9 by Jimmy Hendrix
(yeah, sing a song bro...)
If the sun refused to shine
I dont mind, I dont mind
(yeah)
If the mountains ah, fell in the sea
Let it be, it aint me.
(well, all right)
Got my own world to live through and uh, ha !
And I aint gonna copy you.
Yeah (sing the song brother...)
Now if uh, six uh, huh, turned out to be nine
Oh I dont mind, I dont mind uh ( well all right... )
If all the hippies cut off all their hair
Oh I dont care, oh I dont care.
Dig.
cause Ive got my own world to live through and uh, huh
And I aint gonna copy you.
White collar conservative flashin down the street
Pointin their plastic finger at me, ha !
Theyre hopin soon my kind will drop and die but uh
Im gonna wave my freak flag high, high !
Oww !
Wave on, wave on...
Ah, ha, ha
Fall mountains, just dont fall on me
Go ahead on mister business man, you cant dress like me
Yeah !
Dont nobody know what Im talkin about
Ive got my own life to live
Im the one thats gonna die when its time for me to die
So let me live my life the way I want to
Yeah, sing on brother, play on drummer

This was my favorite...
"Oh I've always disliked goths.
Theres only one goth girl in my college now and we all think she's weird and we trully believe she should change a bit."
People who try to change people make me sick becasue they are too weak to be confident in their own actions...

Yes. And it is in theory a hippie forum. Or neo-hippie or something. No anticonformist conformity there!

No doubt. I got caught up in the heat of battle, but then realize that it is pointless.

"My dog actually shits chocolate mousse, moose, meese, mice. But what do you expect, he's goth. I actually created a link to this thread in gothic.net. Kid of a bunch of high school goths, but I thought I'd see if I could facilitate a glorious internet pirate battle and then slink away to another site. LOL!"
Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you just say that the people on here are a bunch of High School goths? Because last time I checked, I've been out of High School for five years now, and most people on here are at least 19 years old (out of high school age).
If that's not what you meant, then my bad.

"in my school they were usually the fat sweaty nerdy types who were into anime and shit."
I think someone confused 'Goth' with 'Otaku'.
"Oh noes! Sum-1 like something different than me! They are UNCOOL!! D:< "

Poor kids. They seem to think that not conforming to a subculture means they never conform to anything themselves.
Wonderful will be the day when someone can do as they wish, and their neighbor won't judge them harshly for it.
On the other hand, I'd love to be a substitute teacher for those kids one day. *evil grin*

There are actually cool people and cool things on that site, too. That thread just got me going. Sorry if I offended anyone, but I guess we all have a calling of one sort or another. No, everyone here is not a high shcool goth. Not that there's anything wrong with that. You really ought to check out the "Fucking funny" video I posted. Off to work then. Because I'm not in high school anymore. =]

Heh heh. If I had known about Goth in high school, I would have been all over it like a Goth monkey on a black vinyl banana! XD
But, then again, high school is all about trying to 'find yourself', so I don't put much stock whenever a high schooler tells me I'm 'oh so lame' for something I enjoy. *shrug*

Dickpickle, I can't believe you've willfully exposed yourself as a member of a forum for 'neohippies'.

I find it funny that people get so worked up over fishnet shirts.
My only observation is that blue jeans and polo shirts are just way too boring for me. I dunno about everyone else, but yeah.
People dressing like goths because they just happen to like it? NEVER! That's absurd.
