Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Whenever I peruse for and purchase clothing online, it is usually secondhand and/or vintage through eBay.

I generally kill people my size and then take the clothes of their still warm backs. The up sides are free shit in the pockets and possibly car keys. The Downsides are that the stains are a bastard to get out....

Kill them with poison blow darts, that way you don't have to deal with blood stains.

I like this dress, but it's way too short so that ruins it. I have been looking for about ten minutes and so far I am seeing nothing that looks good either.

I didn't find anything on FucktheMainstream appealing in the slightest.

See I think it's just a shitty site. I would love some fabric with that skully pattern on it. I could make a dress that'd be much better than the one they're selling. I'd put real sleeves on it and make it an a-line skirt. Or I could cut the dress and make it plain black and use the skull fabric as an accent piece down the sides or...
I think I just really want the fabric.

I recently ordered a couple of skirts from MoonMaiden - http://www.moonmaiden-gothic-clothing.co.uk/ - and I'm really happy with them. It's all very trad goth - lots of crushed velvet and bell sleeves.
I've also had a very nice shrug from Altern8 Ego - http://www.altern8-ego.co.uk/
I'm lusting after quite a lot of things on the Alienskin site - http://www.alienskin.co.uk/ - and will probably be ordering something from there before Christmas.
There are loads of little independent businesses like this online who make stuff to order, and I'm always really happy to give them my trade as it means I get something that's not "off the rack" and I know it's been made without exploitation.

I've probably bought more stuff off eBay than anywhere else. I prefer buying second-hand to new.
www.pennangalan.com and www.necromance.com have sucked more money out of me than I'd care to remember (but it was so worth it).

^That's understandable though. I mean they do stock really awesome stuff. A lot of the other sites products are just fuel for furnaces

I can't find any other site to buy bones. I have been looking for a wholesale human bone site.
