I have a black and white pair of stripy TUK shoes ( rather like pleasers/platforms ) that I've had for about 4 years and adore. Very comfy and they go with most of my pencil skirts too.

I am also developing a fondness for short ankle boots and shoeboots which is just as well since I cannot wear knee length boots due to having large muscular calves :_ ( . But I am very very picky about those. My only and current pair of little ankle boots are patent black leather and I wear them frequently as they are very comfortable indeed.

I feel for you on the knee length boots, I only have one pair I can wear that are black and made out of a stretchy material that looks like suede. Others I can fit into but they always feel tight and uncomfortable.

Meh. I still rock the same pair of boots that I got for free from the firebrigade I volunteer at.
Apart from skateshoes I don't wear anything else.

I only have three pairs of shoes. 8-hole black docs, 8-hole blue docs, and a piar of sneakers for yardwork and stuff. I used to have 14-hole ox bloods, but they were too small so I gave them to my friend. I can't imagine needing more than that.

My work shoes are falling apart after my little episode out in the snow, otherwise I only have a pair of sneakers that I haven't worn in ages because they are as ugly as sin, and a nice pair of boots that go up to my knees and have nice faux-suede flowers on them, but the platform makes them impractical for escapades in the snow. I have to go shoe shopping this week for replacement work shoes and waterproof snow boots.

I fucking hate Docs now. I used to like them when they were still made in Britain. Now, they're all made in china.I had a pair 2 days and the sole came clean off. I prefer Steels and Dux (Docs copies) still made in the EU and insanely cheaper than "the real deal".

I have one pair of UK-made Docs, one pair of UK military issue boots, one OLD pair of Converse hi-tops, a pair of ZooYorks I got off my brother, and a pair of flip-flops.
My brother spends more on one pair of shoes than I have on all of mine combined, and he has more pairs of shoes than I do.
