I own a pair of black 8-hole Doc Martens (which I won't post a picture of), a pair of military surplus boots with purple shoelaces and a pair of winklepickers.
(Yes, they need a good polish!)

The tall boots? The bottoms are hard rubber. They are substantial but have great potential to be heavier. Oh and mine are made by Bongo. They were free(!) so I'm not going to complain one bit!
The short ones are old and from the Emily the Strange line by TUK. they are basically like a pair of Converse as far as their weight and construction go. But these ones leave behind pictures of mad kitties and anti-social sayings when I'm tromping through puddles. So that makes them FAR superior in every way! Not the right way up but here they are:

Yea, I meant the tall ones, lol. I don't have mine with me, I have very limited space in a dorm room, I had to leave some shoes at home...But they look exactly the same and now I miss those...

I do like my tall boots. I can only wear them for a couple hours at a time though or my feet feel like bloody stumps the next day. Hopefully yours are more comfy. Shaving a quarter inch off my calves width would help with part of that. Oh well, misery loves company and I'm sure someone's in the same boat.

I love my Pleasers, I know the brand has a bit of a bad rep but mine have been very good to me and they look awesome
I'll post some pics of the rest of my collection when I can be bothered to get my camera.

God damn it, here I come looking for something sexy to give me a boner and all everyone's posting are goth shoes, which are even more unspeakable than most of the music. You people suck.

These are my work/everything else shoes right now (the brown ones), they are soooo comfy its going to break my heart when its time to throw them out:
These are ones I would really really like, made from organic cotton and recycled tires.
I'd like these for work and dressing up:
And I just want red boots:

Where did you find yours? If they lasted this long, then where you're shopping is the way to go. I've heard and seen awful things about them but those (along with their creepers and Docs on the official US site) have me panting and coveting like mad.

I got mine off of Slinkfashions.com, I think that maybe the Pleaser line is simply made better than Demonias because I have never had a single problem with either of mine and they still look every bit as good as they did in that pic (which is about two years old). My roommate got some Demonias in the same order and well they haven't held up nearly as well and she only wore them every now and then.

Bakers seems to carry a lot of shoes that look like they would hurt but most of them are of very high quality and are very well constructed so they are actually quote comfortable, though I haven't had the chance to try on those yet.

Its heels in general, especially one that big. Plus I'm tall anyway, wearing heels and towering over everybody just makes me think of junior high before the guys in my class hit puberty.

I loves me some heels I don't care if they make me super tall...at least now I'm with Jake who is 6'6 so I have a whole foot before I match him and I don't think I'll ever buy shoes that give me an extra foot.
Out of curiosity how tall are you?

Not exactly sure, the last time I was measured it was 5'11" but I'm not entirely sure my sister measured me right, so I sometimes tell people I'm 5'10".
But then Mr.Beegan is 6'3 or something and he really doesn't seem that much taller than me. Comparing myself to other people is what makes me unsure XD

OK, am I like, the only male here who loves shoes? Here I am wearing my two favorite pairs, my short ones that I wear to work:
and my tall ones I wear to Siouxie , 45 Grave and other concerts (this is my foot at The Showcase Theatre before it closed down last year):
and I MUST get myself a pair of winkle pickers like these for Christmas!

I've walked around in a pair of *these* for ages it seems. On my second pair now, as a matter of fact. Got myself a pair of motorhead motorcycle-boots too, but I can't wear them with skinny jeans so they'll have to wait until the cold makes me bring forth the leather pants or cargo pants.
