Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

I just listened to a recitation of the Qur'an. It's the word of Allah, folks. Yeah, I said it... "folks". And I'm not afraid. I am babbling, though. And procrastinating. Please send me things to do so that I don't have to finish my paper which is due tomorrow morning and worth two credits. I'd appreciate it, folks. [Yeah, I said it again, whaddya gonna do? Huh? Huh? Gonna shoot me? Because you can't shoot someone through a computer, dumbass.]
Aaaand I'm spent.

"Thy pants are lonely, thy knickers are itchey, and thy silk-pantalones largos are out of style, may the Lord will it that way.. and on the first day, he saw it was good... but he had a killer wedgie and his judgement was impaired"
The first part's about a guy who wants somebody to get in his pants, but he's got some sort of super-icky-itchy STD that he was born with ("may the Lord will it that way), ergo his pants are lonely, and nobody will hop in them with him. As he grew older ("the next day"), he saw that the STD was just a part of him that he had to deal with. But this kind of thinking is dillusional ("wedgie", "his judgement was impaired"), as we all know.

The Legendary Pink Dots - "Princess Coldheart"
Princess Coldheart closed her eyes
And waited for the kiss to snap the chain between her lips
They waited proud, they waited willing
Filed in, failed, and so she killed them
Man...I forgot how much I dig these guys.
