Gerard Houarner is a horror author. His novels include The Beast That Was Max, Road to Hell, Road from Hell; latest collections include A Blood of Killers and The Oz Suite. There’s always Dead Cat’s Traveling Circus of Wonders and Miracle Medicine Show, illustrated by GAK), which is a collection/anthology. Recent short fiction includes “Mourning With the Bones of the Dead” in Horror Library 4, “The Flea Market” in Eibonvale Press’ Blind Swimmer anthology, “Lightening Can’t Catch Me,” Darkness On The Edge: Dark Tales Inspired by the Songs of Bruce Springsteen, “Dead Medicine Snake Woman,” Indian Country Noir,“ In the Light of Dying Fires,” Blood and Devotion , a dozen new Max stories in A Blood of Killers collection, and “The Other Box,” originally in Strange Tales 3, and repreinted in Best Dark Fantasy and Horror, from Prime Books. He is currently working with a publisher on reprinting novels and possibly collections and shorts/novellas in e-book formats.
