Nice! Lately I began to use Reason 4, an interesting software for music making (instrumental, electronic and stuff like that) it gots a lot of sub tools to modify, add effects and obtain your own sounds, still i'm not enough skilled yet to use it with its full potential.. For now, I traspose my GP5 tabs to Reason 4 and modify the sound banks to get a more "realistic" effects, and the results are really good!
About the composing part, we tried (me and the other guitarist of my band) to write some stuff together, he plays the guitar and i write all the riffs on gp5, then add any other instrument and parts wich my mind could suggest. It seems the results are not bad at all too
About the lyrics.. for some exceptions i used personal experiences, thoughts, reflections and all sort of stuff, but, because i'm not very suited in "poetry", or still i don't have the creativity and expressness brilliance on this category, some of the songs lyrics has been wrote and arranged by our singer.
