Read the book of Leviticus. "Any man who lies with a man as a woman has committed an abomination."

This has come up in G-net before, and so many people in this thread have brought it up I feel compelled to meet it.

Sexuality is all about sex. Not love, mates. If you're not into sex with either gender, you're not bisexual, you're asexual. If you find someone attractive, but not in a sexual way, then there is no sexuality indicator. I could love my male friend (I'm male), but without a sexual desire that doesn't make me homosexual. Similarly, I could want to have sex with a woman but not feel love for her. Sexual desire <> love, and vice versa.

I don't mean to come off as a ranting, slavering grammar Nazi here (mostly because it's nomenclature and not grammar). It just always gets me how sex and love are treated as identical things, when they are more often independent of each other than linked.

Pan. I've been in relationships with girls, guys, and briefly with a transvestite(soon to be transsexual.) There was once a hermaphrodite that I fancied, but it ended up not going anywhere. I suppose that makes me pansexual.

Oddity85 04-24-2008 03:07 AM

I'm straight though I seem to get more guys interested in me than gals.

TopHaggardDoll 04-24-2008 03:57 AM

I don't bloody know.

I can be attracted to men and be in a relationship with them but I hate having sex with them, I only ever did it to keep my previous male partners happy which then leads me to resent them.

Whereas with women I am attracted to them, can be in a relationship and can have sex with them without resentment. I have had previous female partners and never felt that resentment.

Then I didn't want to do it atall, had no interest in sex.

Then it got confusing when my boyfriend came out as transgender and now is my girlfriend (pre op...only about a year ago) Back when she was a he I loved her beyond reason and she loved me but we couldn't bring ourselves to do anything in the sex spectrum. Now she is a she, we've found our feelings changing and we've started experimenting with all the foreplay stuff and she's gotten well sexy in the way that she acts around me etc and i'm all like...this ain't too bad.

So my sexuality? My God...I do not have a clue. Can anyone answer this for me? LOL!

le_revenant 04-24-2008 07:13 AM

I'm a lez trapped in a guy's body! :D

Wow, that sounds very interesting. It's great that you guys stuck together through all those changes. I wish you two the best of luck in the future!

Thankyou loads.

We just roll with the punches, you get me? No point in getting angry at eachother for things we either can't help or don't matter in the grand scheme of things.

Gay. I like the thought of a man by my side, I guess for the same reason girls do, protection and all. I don't know why really, it's just a warm, comforting feeling.

Nice catch. But not every word in the bible is the word of God or Jesus.

AngelikDemonik 04-25-2008 11:39 AM

Leviticus also states that any man who touches a woman during her period should be stoned to death..... =/

I think I had this conversation, already, though. I'll shut up now.

Murasaki eyeliner 04-25-2008 12:08 PM

straight, but i have to admit to occasional stairing when a gorgeouse women walks by

(before you ask yes i am aware that i spelt most of that wrong, but im high on poster paint if thats any excuse)

witchking 04-26-2008 04:43 PM

I'm straight, but I'm mostly only interested in goths. I can be attracted to others, but I cast them aside very quickly...often leading to emotional damage.

However, whatever I find erotic, is erotic. If that happens to be a man, so be it. But it's extremely rare.

No...and being high on poster paint is stupid. Don't do that to yourself.

TopHaggardDoll 04-28-2008 12:50 AM

Maybe she's been painting in a poorly ventilated area and made a joke?

I don't know any people that would do something that ridiculous. If Ophelia is right though, NO SNIFFING CHEMICALS! It's bad for you!

I'm between homoflexible and pansexual, I suppose.
I've only dated girls though.
I've found that people in the goth community are definitely more accepting than in other subcultures.

Bakiryu 04-29-2008 03:10 PM

Wow! I can't believe there are so many pansexual people here. Among all those i know, I happen to be the only one.

pretty cool. Now i don't feel like such a weirdo. :p

Rotting Corpse 04-30-2008 06:02 AM

HELLo! Long time no see! Ok,I vote Bisexual.I just met a girl who is also bi,and I'm hinking of dumping my boyfriend for her :/ I hate decisions (is that right?)

BLEED REBELION!!! 05-02-2008 06:25 PM

If a man touches a woman on her period he should be stonned?? whats the logic or reason behind that??? Theres got to be one?

I think its quite funny how straight girls (at leats a few of my female friends) will do act vaguely gay. Its kinda funny. They are def straight yet they do things... its amusing.

I always have a cute girl in my lap!! YAY ME!

SeverinInFurs 05-02-2008 09:28 PM

I'm...undecided. I try to say I'm pansexual, but being honest with myself (which is hard) I find myself utterly confused. I'm turned on by gay porn, but most guys intimidate me. I love the idea of transsexuals, but haven't found more than a few in my life. I like women, but most frustrate me after a month. As soon as human cloning's legal, I'm going to try my damndest to clone myself, and just change the 2nd chromosome to an x >.>

Cicero 05-02-2008 11:07 PM

I am a lover of the penis.

In other words, straight. And if I'd been born a boy, gay.

There are whole passages written in red ink which are the words of Jesus. Are they accurate? No, but they are claimed to be the words of Jesus of Nazareth.

YuriBR 05-10-2008 12:00 AM

I'm gay, but I think the world should be bi... Straight and gays must be missing something.
