When I hear that Marilyn Manson is creating his own cosmetic/fragrance line, I get this icky feeling in the pit of my stomach and begin to cringe...

It's not supposed to do that to you until you actually smell it.

Well, I'll only give credit to Manson if he manages to beat Britney Spears and J.Lo's fragance line, in terms of quality-wise not quantity sold.

Also, just because you think a perfume smells nice, that does not conclude it is a good perfume.

Manson has a good sound, but in all honesty, I never considered his lyrics to have much meaning to begin with. It's all been said before. Also, his lyrics are more... mundane then I would like. I'm hard to impress. Tell me that "God" is dead in plain, blunt english and I'll ignore you. Tell me a unique fable about *why* "God" is dead, and I'll listen.

I would by this fragrance, and perhaps some make-up if it is reasonably priced and I like the smell/look of it. I could really care less who's line it is. How does that change the fact that it is or isn't of good quality?

I really don't care. I have no liking for Manson or his obnoxious fans. I am also far too cheap to buy anything with a celebrity-named price. The idea of a fragrance is interesting, though - if it's a distinct scent, there will be a whole new way to identify his fans.

I bet it'd be expensive. But if the makeup colours are good, and if the perfume smells good, I'd buy it and wear it. Does anyone have any information on when it'll be out?

I think it will be interesting to see what his line will be like, will I buy any of it? Who knows depends on the price and well if I like it.

I do listen to Manson and am somewhat of a fan. Honestly, I really couldn't care less about the fragrance and makeup unless it's good quality stuff, or if I like how it looks.

not gonna be buying... I dislike him (partly due to the fankiddies that have given goth a bad name as attention-whoring 13 year olds, partly due to the sheer level of covers he does compared to other artists).
I'm also not much of a fragrance wearer. I'll wear a quiet and subtle unisex scent sometimes, but generally I prefer to remain without a smell.

I think that the perfume idea sounds a bit rubbish. Everyone can do perfume (Jade Goody- I rest my point) I know I certainly won't even consider peeking at it. If he wants to shock, he should do toothbrushes.

Oh, I know what you mean. There's this new girl in my high school, and she wears the black lipstick like that; oh god, it looks so fucking trashy and her outfit looks hapharzadly put on. I'm not even kidding. I can't help but look at her in disgust every time I see her.
