How can you tell a wannabe??
Hey everybody, soz its been a while since I have actually posted. I was just wondering but how can you tell a wannabe goth from a real goth?? What sort of signs are their?? If somebody could please help by explaining that would be great!!

well a wannabee announces it all the time and thinks its only the cloaths but a real goth knows better.

Yeah, NOEL is right, and a goth (to me) tends to be a LOT more intellectual than most people....plus, they read a LOT more....and have really good taste in music...

Have you pissed on anyone lately? If not, I'm standing right next to the fire hydrant...but anyhow, a real goth wouldn't be trying to brag about it and is (in my opinion) usually laid back and if something happens.....well, ho-lee-shit....just deal with it.... |

I am really not one to label myself as anything, I also make no claims one way or another about who or what I am. I tend to be more of an individualist, and I can't really be true to that if I lump myself in with any group. As for my user name, it's a character I made up for a story I wrote.

To drayhorn, I really like your quote and the philosophy behind it. It is good to see that honor still means something to some people.
As for how to tell wannabe goths from goths, if you really have to ask.......you get the idea. Goth is about a creative spirit with an understanding of the darker side of things. It is about individuality, and how you see the world. |
