The links seem authentic, although they do not entirely support the website, and I've yet to actually read any that said that implanted genes could alter a creatures physical characteristics that drastically. The article which was linked to as "glowing monkey" said quite clearly that there were no indications the jellyfish gene was active and that the monkey's appearance and physiology were not different from any other of it's parent species.

I'd be disgusted if this were some kind of sea-monkeys" scam. While I wouldn't call myself an animal activist. I think that using an animal in an inhumane way is horrific. Having worked at a fairly clean respectable pet store, the conditions in which I was unhappy about. I can only gues that conditions in "puppy-mills" and the like are horrific.

This website is very disturbing and ultimately sad, because it preys on people's "convienience" factor and really these things are (if they are real, I'm not terribly convinced) just another thing that will be forgotten in a cage at some time or another.
