my school counselor and cop are cunts

today during language arts the school cop came picked me up and took me to the guidance counselor office and searched my backpack, the reason he gave me was that he thought i could hurt myself or someone else, he also mentioned some phone call probably from a bitchy parent. he and my guidance counselor read my private stories and journal entries and i started crying. then they gave me the usual crap about wanting to help and how are things at home. i kept crying through the whole thing. and i am pretty sure this is not the last meeting because the journal entries do mention killing. i dont think its legal to serch stuff like that without a reason so i'll ask my mom to complain to the school. i hope the cop and guidance counselor become miserable and have the worst possible things happen to them.

I remember a story that got into the news maybe a few years ago about a girl who wrote a fictional story about a girl who dreamed that she killed somebody and got suspended. I mean, seriously. A fictional. Character's. Dream.
Why don't they just get you for thinking about hurting things, now? God.

Why were you carrying around a journal that mentioned killing?

It's his journal. He can write what he likes in it, and SHOULD be able to take it wherever he likes.

I'm impressed that your guidance counselor was able to make you cry.

S/He must be quite an accomplished and extraordinary person.

Sick. They should suspend poorly written stories with horrid spelling and grammar, instead. @_@ And they tell ya there's nothing to be paranoid about in the world...

And lol maybe the cop was wearing a wig... but it fell off while they were making out... and so he/she is calling him a cunt now. Yeah........... >.>

Well think of it this way: Its America, post Columbine. Someone tells the counsellor that one of their students might pose a threat to himself or to others. What do you do?

If they're offering to help you with whatever you're going through, take it. If there's nothing wrong with you, don't cry when someone reads some stories you wrote and offer help and add them to some death list. Suck it up and respond to them in such a way that they would see that you are in fact very stable.

I'd rather have had a detention or risked suspension. Did they tell you what they wanted or dont they have to give a reason over there?

What- so people are stepping in to make certain you are OK, make certain that you aren't going Columbine, make certain you aren't a threat to yourself or others?

Good.

Either someone you showed your stories to told, or you look like the sort of person who writes about brutal murders and walks around with a deathlist in his pocket.

Like it? No.

Respect it? Yes.

When you pull your head out of your pissy ass and look around, you will understand the reasons why. How many shooters were 'preps', you judgmental ass?

The act itself is obscene. The setting makes it necessary.

You know I love you Jillian, but "should" isn't "is". But it's a Catch-22 all the same.

Yeah, I think it should be the other way around, but if it was the otherway around, then the situation of which is liked and which is respected wouldn't present itself so readily.

I don't like it, but I respect it. This effect is due to the environment and the history of shooters.

If the environment and the history of shooters was not present, then I'd neither like nor respect it, I suspect. But I don't really live in that scenario.

But seems we are arguing the same point. In a world of *should*, the act would not have been executed in the first place because the setting of the shooter would never have happened.

As is, I do not like it. But having been through the aftermath of a shooting, I *can* respect it. But I also know where that has been a "authorative privilege" abused by some with the alleged authority. But that's a whole other can o' worms.

Issue at hand? Someone with a death list is pissy that he got searched? Fuck'em. They are the ones who peobably need to be searched

*sigh*

Yeah, that sucks, dude.

But in retrospect, beyond the obscene act of going through your private things in a public place, I think it's best you ask yourself why you had a deathlist in your pocket.

Exactly what were you implying with it? Then again, I can't really say much. I used to fantasize about the demise of my pre-teen tormentors in my own special way as well.

The difference between you and I though is that I never made my fantasies known. I knew I'd never act on them, but I wouldn't let anyone know of them either.

Come on, man. You probably dress in solid black and look damned spooky to boot. Did you really expect anyone to respect your autonomy? Sheesh.
