Hello, my name's Solstice
Hi everyone

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job) -
Nothing particulary exicting or interesting. I draw, paint and play the keyboard.

2. Where are you from? -
Canberra, Australia

3. Who is your favorite author? -
I don't really read books. Although I would like to start, if anyone has any recommendations that would be great.

4. What are your favorite films? -
Don't watch to many films. I like plenty of television shows though :P

5. What music do you want played at your wedding? -
"Hope" by Bauhaus

6. At your funeral? -
"Shame" by Gene Loves Jezebel

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? -
By fatal hilarity

8. What kind of casket would you want? -
Just throw me in a large cardboard box and call it a day

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit? -
My grey hat, grey tank tank top, grey floral skirt and boots.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid? -
Being able to get away with things more easily

11. What's your favorite band?
Cranes, Rosetta Stone, Love Sprials Downwards, Portishead, The Sisters of Mercy, Cinema Strange, Alien Sex Fiend, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Peter Murphy, Inkubus Sukkubus, Bjork, Bauhaus, Gene Loves Jezebel, Siouxsie Sioux, Voltaire, Christian Death...heaps of music.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm studying to get my year 10 course certificate in TAFE

13. Why did you join? -
I've been lerking around here for a quite some time. I've been meaning to join but never mustered up the courage to do so.

You want book recommendations? I would start with the short stories of Charles Bukowski and pretty much anything Kurt Vonnegut ever wrote. They're easy to read, fun as hell and not in the least tedious. They also kick ass.

Wow! A person who actually listens to goth music! They still exist! I thought I was alone in the cold!

Welcome welcome welcome! Here's a chair! That guy over there is Humanepain - he writes good stories. Over here we have Xombie - she's a chick with hot boots. Over there in the corner with the scowl is Gothicusmaximus...he's the resident curmudgeon. And I'm Ioni_Angel. You'll get to know the rest of us soon enough.

My sincere apologies Solstice for the belated greeting, I seem to have ignored the Introductions forum for a while now.

I too love Siouxsie; I saw her this past February 18 at the House if Blues in Anaheim California. Your mention of Cinema Strange warms my heart as well, welcome!
