Sleeping help please!
Hi, i've been having real trouble sleeping, I wanted to know if there are any tablets I could take?
Preferably something I could mix into a drink because I hate swallowing things whole :S
Anyway! I want something thatll make me sleep completely, basically so no loud noises or people shaking me will wake me up..
I have an 8 year old brother who constantly wakes me in the night to annoy me and makes so much noise snoring you wont believe *his room is next to mine*
Thanks a bunch for the help guys!

If you want a pill to help you sleep you might try Melatonin. I have a few friends who take it and I've taken it a couple times. It relaxed me at first and I intended to stay up and do some stuff in a nice relaxed mood but I gave up and went to bed within an hour. I don't know about England but in America you can buy it over the counter. It has other uses too and of course, like any drug, people argue over effectiveness and safety. So, do some reading first. However, I'll say it works for me and the people I know who take it and it sells very well at the store I bought it at. I bought the 5 mg pill but it comes in other sizes. They're not time-released so you can probably crush them up and drink them in something if you really wanted to.
I don't normally use music to help me sleep but when I do it's usually one of the ambient compilations from the Waveform label. The best ones are One A.D., Two A.D. and Three A.D. For late night, chill out and still be somewhat gothic and cool Daniel Ash's CD Coming Down is my favorite. I'll try to upload these and post the link in the Album Dump thread later today.

As Man In Room 5 mention, melatonin work quite well for me. It's design to help you sleep more deeply and better.

Melatonin just made my stomach hurt, but that's probably a result of a filler, not the melatonin itself.
I like chamomile tea, myself..

I have such problems sleeping that sleeping pills don't work for me. I was put on pills for people with epilepsy because it has a side effect of drowsiness...as well as the jitters and a million other not-fun things! Tell your brother to get those nasal strips and can it at lights out.

Try this recipe:
-Vanilla soy milk
-vanilla extractor
-chamomile tea
-Honey
Boil or heat up soy milk then seep chamomile in the soy milk for 3 to 5 mins. Add some vanilla extractor and honey then stir it. Enjoy.
