An uncanny thematic consistency in goth lighter ballads.

Has anyone else noticed that a disturbing number of goth rock's more stirring, emotionally poignant songs contain the phrase 'walk away'?
Think about it. Atmosphere. Arms of Cicero. Crowds. Walk Away.
Is this weird, or totally insignificant?

Huh, I'd never noticed that before.

Clearly it means the act of walking away is extremely goth.

It's just just goth songs, though.

Today I went up to a bunch of people, started conversations with them, then just abruptly left.
I'm so goth.

You're all trying to undermine my hypothesis by noting that other bands have songs that mention walking away, but it won't work.
The phrase still appears with abnormal frequency in goth music.

Donna Summers had a hit called Walk Away.
'Tis the only disco song I like.
