Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved. How can we expect a harvest of thought from the multitude of morons we see on this forum who have not had a seedtime of character?
If my time on Gothic.net has taught me anything it is this, that common sense ain't as common as I thought.

I think what Helpmann means to say is that there are a lot of people here who are drones. They have nothing to offer. Three quarters of their comments are just worthless interjections like "I agree with this!" or "Quoted for truth" or "That's awesome xxx" or "I love that band". It's understandable to say these things now and then, but if you have nothing else to offer you become dulling to the senses and begin to create headaches and ill stomaches.
