Wow, so... yeah
I have recently joined the similarly named forum that shall not be named because the fuckheaded mods would love to BAN MY ASS for it.
I'm kind of, well... unimpressed, to say the least.
First of all, the layout is screaming "I R T3H V@MPY3RZ!" It's harsh on the eyes, too.
Secondly, are you all familiar with the lame "too goth"" motherfuckers? The ones who say the word goth every other fucking syllable and who think that anything not goth is not worth talking about?
It's crawling with them.
Even the topics are boring as shit.
Just a rant. Really bit of a rubbish post, but it's whinning, so we'll swing with it.

Haha, it took me a while to figure out what website you're talking about, and yes it is not at all comparable to the wonderful forums provided to us by wonderful admins (please don't ban me for talking about another forum, we're just talking about how horrible your competition is).
Although while I was trying to figure it out I stumbled upon it, opened a thread, and I was like, "Holy Shit is that Wolfmoon posting?" o.O Oh dear.

Talking about other forums, at least in a positive way is the only thing they consistently ban people for, there's no rule about bad mouthing other forums and not mentioning their names.
Although I thought we were talking about the one Rozz thought we were talking about too. Not saying the name makes it a bit harder, the only other one I can think of doesn't sound like what Joker was talking about and is pretty dead anyway.

Its an old rule, as far as I know this has been a rule as long as the boards have been here. The last one to get banned for this was poisonedblueeyes, I believe.

Some of the rules of that board seemed unnecessarily strict. I joined to see what all of the fuss was about, but I didn't find it very appealing.

Well the reason why we can't talk about other forums that are competition for gnet is because way back in The Banning Times just about all of the mods were banned and one of them started up another site (GG) and many of the older members (banned or not) followed once it was up and running so the powers that be didn't want anyone else to know about it. Technically speaking we can talk about other forums, just not ones that are "knockoffs" of this one or are intentionally made to draw people away from this one.
