Today, a soldier sleeps,
Eternal.
By the might of a blue wave,
his cries lost on the asphalt.
Rags has died,
torn by the crabs,
grotesque.
The fire burned strong in him,
but his eyes also leaked blue.
He never said, but freedom was
what he wanted.
Blech.
