Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

I approve.
After 6:30 in this song it gets so intense, and sort of Neurosis-like. I dig.

The whole album is sick. The album's titled Microcosmos by the way, I forgot to mention that. Go download it!

I'm already doing it, haha.
I listened to a few more songs on youtube. All of the ones I've heard go from pretty heavy black metal (the drums, especially) to some sort of post rock influenced goodness. Is it all like this?

Pretty much, yea. You can hear a lot of Isis influence in a lot of atmospheric BM.

I've heard of them, but I've never really give them a listen. Should I?

They had a new EP this year called 'Malevolent Grain', it's not as intense as Two Hunters, but it's still really cool. Plus it's got more female vocals, which sound really good with their instrumental style I think.
