Those who call themselves "Juggalos..."

Is it just me, or do they pop up a lot? Not to complain, not much at least, it's just I've been significantly bothered by the "Juggalos" or whatever they call themselves. Don't get me wrong, people have a right to like whatever they like--I'm all for it--but I don't understand these guys. I've been receiving a lot of crap from them in school; you know, everyday stuff, like getting made fun of and what not by these clowns. Apparently they think I'm a "pozer" as they said, though I don't understand how, considering I never associate with them.

If anybody could fill me in on these people, I'd be very grateful. Is it a code of some sort for them to be assholes? Not saying all of them are like that--I'm merely talking about the ones specifically in my high school. I'm sorry if this offended anybody... I'm not looking to get into a fight with anyone. I like the people here and I'm at peace with them--I don't want to ruin it, but I had to speak up about this because it was bothering me, terribly. And not in an emotional way--that's only a small fraction of it--it was more of a bother than anything, buzzing around in the back of my mind.

Ah yes... Juggalos. I don't really like it but I have friends like that and not all of them are assholes. I know this really quiet Juggalo, my friends are friendly. Juggalos are also known as Ghetto Goths "goths from the ghetto." It's not something stupid as you can see they actually exist. Maybe ghettogoth69 was a Juggalette she did speak slang and I don't think she was that judgmental on G.net. I don't know maybe there's something I don't know. But I do know that Juggalo males are also known as Lo's and female Juggalos as Lette's. Juggalo's & Juggalete's. Or you can say Lo's & Lette's.

There's no specific way of style just whatever you want. Some dress like baby bats from Hot Topic, or just street. They listen to rap, like Insane Clowne Posse "I really don't like them." Stuff like "Kotton Mouth Kings." It's pretty obvious that the people you're dealing with are a bunch of fucking uneducated street scum. Your school is probably filled w/ those kind of people. If they're all assholes and act like they're part of a group I'm pretty sure they're a gang. That's all I know :P I hope I provided you w/ enough info and didn't mention something stupid. I just explained my opinion from my schools point of view. Ok?

Juggalos (and their female counterparts) seem to appear in rural areas, mostly. They are generally white, lower middle class kids with nothing better to do. Also, it has been my experience that they're uneducated, despite my having met them in school. Drugs seem to be a large part of their activities, as well as being fans of the band ICP.

If I were ever to meet an intelligent Juggalo or Jugalette, I'd be delighted. I don't enjoy thinking negatively of [most] people.

Any smart Los or Lettes lurking in the shadows?

Perhaps you're right--they do have a gang mentality or something, but I can't be too sure. I'm the only person they seem to target. And your point-of-view is very much welcomed!

My impression is that the term "Juggalo/lette" is specifically a term for a fan of the band ICP.

In my personal experience, I have never met an ICP fan who I would consider intelligent. Maybe there's a whole bunch of them out there that I'm just not aware of. But all the ICP fans I've encountered have been painfully stupid and cliche, kind of like nu-metal kids crossed with wiggers.

I dated a girl who was into this ICP/Juggalo crap.

I actually think it's funny now, because seeing this sort of goes to show that some things never change.

She did a lot of drugs, was extremely emotional, and banged everything under the sun (Half of the attraction right there). I mean, when we broke up I was like all, 'wah', but now that I think about it, I am damn glad we broke up. She was a fucking idiot too. And I don't mean so dumb she got a negative 3 on the SAT, I mean so fucking stupid she makes insects resemble Einstein.

I swear, it's one of those fads that will disappear in 10 months, except for a few kids who want to remain 'hardcore'.

Though I don't mind Tripp pants, that's a bit over-the-top even for me. xD A few straps, fine, some chains, okay, but mounds and mounds of them--tacky!

And I agree Lapin, we should say a prayer for their poor clownish souls.

some of my juggalo friends have told me that a juggalo is: someone who is "down with the clown" (lover of ICP), while others tell me that they are people who live with the innocence of the child. I have researched this by listening to the music. There is a song called "The unrevealing" or something to that effect. In it the one verse says they follow god. Another line is they believe in Sheng ru la (don't know how to spell it). the only thing i was confused about was that their lyrics talk about violence drugs and not caring about the world. If thats following god, I'm out. anyway this is my understanding

What the hell is the appeal of this? It's like a cult, only it's like they've reached the ability to form, but haven't gotten smart enough to realize the ideas is stupid.

I mean, I can respect the music. If you have the balls to get up on stage, you have my respect. The followers on the other hand...

Not only that, but they've even turned it into a religion of sorts! All based on ICP's music! They treat these guys like gods... it's pathetic in my opinion.

They have their own sermons and everything too, and they rant about something called the "coming of the dark carnival" or whatever. It's so bizarre, building a religion from a rap band. I'm sure ICP's enjoying scraping up the profits they're making off these morons in merchandise and such--all they have to keep saying is "are you down with the clown" and bam, they've got them all in their palms.

Makes you wonder when they're going to realize the utter stupidity of such an idea, or the fact they're being brainwashed and robbed of money.

For the record, about the six years comment I made earlier... Six years ago is when I realized that these Juggalos were a "thing," if you know what I mean. I was aware of ICP prior to that, so for all I know it's been going on longer. "At least six years" would be more accurate.
