My introduction
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I'm currently a textiles student, which means I have fun making outfits, footwear and other junk out of obscure materials. My favourite creation thus far is a boot I made out of a toy lion, an alarm clock and a piece of wool.
I like visiting cemetaries, reading, writing, watching horror movies and making friends.
2. Where are you from?
Northamptonshire in England.
3. Who is your favorite author?
I'm torn between Stephen King and HP Lovecraft, although their writing style is so different I love them equally.
4. What are your favorite films?
Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Return of the Living Dead, Return of the Living Dead 3, The Fly, The Lost Boys, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I'm Depressed (We All Die) - The Bolshoi
6. At your funeral?
Whoomp! (There it is) - Tag Team
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I'll sew many pockets onto a long coat, fill the pockets with candy and then jump off the top of a school building with a grenade.
Failing that, I hope to die suddenly and unexpectedly in a very public place.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
One that will last me a lifetime.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
My 8 inch platforms worn with my black layered crushed velvet dress from Spain and my velvet top with an interesting lace ruff.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Having tantrums in supermarkets and getting away with it. Now they ask me to leave.
11. What's your favorite band?
Currently Sopor Aeternus.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm doing a National Diploma Textiles course at college.
13. Why did you join?
I'm lonely and crave interaction.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm female.

You seem nice, as well as intelligent and well dressed. So welcome to g-net, and enjoy your stay!
...wait, you made a boot out of a toy lion and an alarm clock? How does that work?

This is probably the least gothic sentence that has ever been posted on this site...but when I was 8, my cheerleading squad did a dance to Whoomp! (There It Is). I still know all the words, and half the steps. Reading your post has suddenly brought it all back. (For the record, I only took cheerleading for a year, and only to help with my ballet jumps, and yes, I am ashamed.)
Anyway, welcome! You made me ramble! Your boot sounds quite interesting.

Welcome to GNet (another Brit? We'll be flooded!). Check the link in my sig for events in your area, hopefully it'll be of use to you.
