Cotton biker jacket

http://www.angryyoungandpoor.com/sto...product=104881

What do you think? And this site has 2 better pics of it - http://store.derangeddesigns.com/cobijasmlxl.html

So, yay or nay? Any ideas for sprucing it up? Or leave as is?

Nah, go to a second hand/ vintage/ charity shop and get a cheap old leather jacket. It'll last longer, be warmer and look better.

No, but I just want it to be cotton, I can't stand leather jackets. Not on me at least.

Ah, that does make a difference. I don't think it looks quite right for that kind of thing, but I have very specific views on clothing and style.
I'd still suggest trawling all local sources first, as you might get at $10 bargain instead of paying $35.

I agree completely with Methadrine on this, those are truly hideous, they just look wrong. Why don't you like them in leather? They look much better than these.

Because I just can't wear leather. It's too stiff for my taste really, and cotton is so much easier to work with. But really, I'm still not sure if I should get it or not.

And cotton does not necessarily mean cuddly, does it? Just a different material...

Well, I don't know. I have nothing against cotton but for some reason the black one just gives off an 80's Michael Jackson feel, as opposed to a biker jacket feel, IMO. I think it is the color/texture combo of the zips against the cotton in black. The buttons up top don't look odd like the shine of the zips do. Perhaps something of similar length and overall shape but with black buttons instead of the silver zips might come off looking more stable?

You know what a jacket like that might be called, or where I can find one? I like your idea =]
