Bangs.
Bangs. How in the fuck do you get the word 'Bangs' from 'fringe'?
Bangs makes no sense.
Do they explode when you touch them?
Does a little piece of paper fly out of it that says "Bang!" like in Looney Tunes?
Fringe, I can understand, the dictionary definition of fringe:
a decorative border of thread, cord, or the like, usually hanging loosely from a raveled edge or separate strip.
That makes sense, to call it that.
But BANGS?!
I swear, every time I hear that word, I have bloodlust.

Sarcasm's the best form of wit.
I wrote an entire essay for what would be a good relaxation area on 'The Coal Mining Corner'.
I love sarcasm.
People always say "OMG YOU'RE SO SARCASTIC!!!"
So I say "Yes. Yes I am."
... There wasn't much of a story there.

I'm listening to that song they play in The Neverending Story when those funny creatures are approaching the Ivory Tower on that weird bat.
I call them bangs, but only because that's how I learnnnnnnedddd. In fact, I never even heard of them being called "fringes" until a few years ago. Anyway, I agree. Bangs makes no sense, BUT I'M NOT CHANGING FOR YOU OR FOR ANYBODY!!!

My mom always told me when I was little that I needed to get my bangs trimmed, so right now, I have bangs. Fringe just sounds stupid to me.

I first read it when I read this British novel. lol, so then, I thought, "Oh, in America, they say bangs, and in Britain, they say fringe."
I suppose now, that is not the case.

Mine are eating my eyebrows right now.
My fringe is sparse. I wish it was as thick as Bettie Page's. Though I don't like that Bettie Page's fringe goes half-way around her head...
