Losing my post virginity.
Well hello, I am Dr Nancy.
I have been lurking for a while, I am fifteen, pansexual, I have a rather cynical warped sense of humor, hoping to expand my music taste, addicted to tea and PJs, and I'll get to the questions, as I'm feeling terribly narcissistic.
What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I read, write, draw and enjoy altering clothing, I work at the moment hosting small childrens' birthday parties.
Where are you from?
Australia.
Who is your favorite author?
John Marsden, Chuck Palahniuk, Vladimir Nabokov, Poppy Z. Brite
What are your favorite films?
Requiem For A Dream, Doom Generation, Paprika, V for Vandetta, A Clockwork Orange, Grave of the Fireflies, Dogma, Rocky Horror Picture Show
What music do you want played at your wedding?
I'd settle nicely for Nightwish
At your funeral?
Evanescance or Muse
This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I want to be strangled.
What kind of casket would you want?
I'd like a glass casket
What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I don't have a fouvorite outfit, just favourite pieces, my corsets, docs, ripped jeans and corset dress.
What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
The simplicity and innocence.
What's your favorite band?
Siouxsie & the Banshees, Nightwish, The Sex Pistols, Within Temptation, Evanescance, , A Perfect Circle, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, Anti-Flag, The Misfits, Muse, David Bowie
What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
2 months off from graduating highschool.
Why did you join?
Because I'd like to speak to people I understand, I dislike chatspeak, and I have a weakness for goth girls.
If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female.

Nabokov? Really? What do you like about his writing? What are your most memorable reads?
Just FYI, it is spelled Vendetta, and the band name is Evanescence.
But welcome. I like the same bands you do.

Thank you, excuse my spelling.
Unfortunately, I've only gotten my hands on ******, though, what amazes about Nabokov is he had had me sympathizing with Humbert, accepting the 'relationship' he had with Lo, feeling devastated when she left, and hating her for it.... it is intense how it drew me in, and the word play and style it is written in, is like nothing else I have read.

Salutations newbie, I hope you enjoy it here. But heed Ophelia's words, and just be yourself. It's the Internet, what's the worst that can happen?

I like that your taste in music is so varied, and spans multiple genres. That is pretty cool.

If that was the case, he wouldn't have put Evanescence on there or Muse or Within Temptation. If he's been lurking, he'd know that Bauhaus and Siouxie Sioux would be the music artist he should put to try and fit in.

I hate when people introduce themselves as cynics. If you're a cynic, you can prove it, don't just tell me.

She didn't say that she was a cynic just that she had a cynical sense of humor, possibly as a heads up so that people don't get offended when she is just joking.
Anyways welcome to the boards.

Your musical tastes are almost identical to my own... except the metal related bands. Oh well. Welcome! Looking forward to seeing you post.

I'm glad to know that someone else knows and embraces pansexuality. Many have never heard of it or find it negative somehow. Anyways, welcome. =)
You have pretty good taste in music, literature, and film I must say.

I've never had a negative reaction to my pansexuality and I've never felt particularly isolated or unique for it either, there's plenty of pansexual people.

I don't know anyone pansexual in my area, but it is pretty small.

Most people I've come into contact with feel strange if I tell them that in addition to men and women, I would be attracted to someone who was transgendered. Not that I care, I just noticed that I tend to get a negative reaction. It's probably just the area I live in.

Okay, congrats.
But it's true. Many members have put those bands in their profiles.
And if he was purposely trying to fit in, while he was stalking, he probably would have put those in his profile. If I was trying my hardest to fit in, I would have done that as well.

You have a very irritating and serious problem of thinking that what you do is what everyone else does.
Your experiences and thoughts are NOT the experiences and thoughts of every human being you encounter.
Take my thoughts, for example: ornate and open-minded, vs. yours, which are obtuse and obvious.
I used alliteration just for you!
I know your type likes that sort of thing.

No I don't. I'm using logic. I know that those bands are the basics of goth music, so naturally, by logic I'd put those.
And yeah, they aren't, but I'm speaking of terms in what would be most logical.
Yes, I love alliteration, sadly though, you have just proven that you don't dislike me that much, since you went out of your way to make me so happy and entertain me. Unless of course you have ulterior motives with that gesture.
