Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL.

My voice?

How fit is my voice for singing?

http://www.myspace.com/disguisedinblack

The first song (Strange) is the only song with vocals on it.

Thanks in advance

Your voice is better than mine, BUT...you need voice training lessons. Your key wavers, if you could hold a note you would have potential. On the plus side, the timbre of your voice is good for goth music.

Yeah, you're not terrible or anything, although you used too much reverb and echo or whatever, so it was difficult to discern what was actually you. You do need a fair bit of practice. Vocal training would do you good.
It does sound like you have a nice tone already, though.

I just listened to Beast. I really like this and the guitar part especially.

EDIT: Tongue is cool too. The music is quite Goth.

I wouldn't label the music as goth; even if parts of it has goth influences.

Well, yeah. I'm a guitarist so the main focus is mostly by default on the guitars

Thanks for the comments on the vocals, I will be practicing more on hkeeping the notes where they're supposed to be :P I'm well aware of that issue, I mostly wanted assured that my voice could work for my music, instead of going and looking for a vocalist...
