1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
i love writing!!!! it's my passion more than my hobby. which is why i hate when people are like "oh, so you're going through that emo-sad-poetry phase?" i hate emos anyway...but this is no phase. it's my life

2. Where are you from?
born and raised in New England. Massachusetts, to be precise. i love the cold winters and beautiful autumn leaves falling to the ground...

3. Who is your favorite author?
oh my, i can't choose! i love classics like Edgar Allen Poe and Jane Austen, but i also like Mary Stewart, J K Rowling, J R R Tolkien, and basically anything fantasy/sci fi

4. What are your favorite films?
haha this is cliche, but classic horror films! Psycho, The Shining, Halloween, Friday the 13th, the list goes on! i like the originals better than the remakes

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
i'm not getting married

6. At your funeral?
uh...probably something by Epica. Like "Sancta Terra." either that or a pagan religious song of some sort.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
ooh, that's a hard one...i'd like to die while doing something exciting! either that or in my sleep...can't choose!

8. What kind of casket would you want?
i want to be cremated and sprinkled over the northern forest

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
hmm...probably my pink-and-black corset, black ruffle skirt, opaque black tights, and my beloved combat boots

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
less responsibility. and that childlike wonder of the world.

11. What's your favorite band?
right now, it's Stream of Passion. but i also like Epica (going to a concert in January!!!), Darkwell, Mortal Love, and other bands along that line

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
i'm in college right now, and i'm majoring in English. i'm going for my master's degree

13. Why did you join?
i've always been interested in Gothic culture, but my friends and family back home slightly disapprove. i'm more comfortable in Gothic clothing, and i love Gothic fiction and music. i might be somewhat of a noob, but that's why i joined!! i want to learn about this culture

i'm female

After browsing through all of these introductions, I feel like making a new one Wouldn't really be fair as I am a semi-active member though :P

Dear girl, there are some inconsistencies in your Introduction (beginning with your user name), and inconsistencies push the "attack" buttons of many here in this literature based community:

a) You say you like writing yet your grammar is unacceptable for a writer.

b) You say you love classics like Edgar Allan Poe yet you misspelled his middle name.

c) You say your major is English. Well...you must not be doing your homework.
