One month ago I quit my job as a salesman and moved to Lithuania. That my wife and I have a little place here is just one reason why. I'm 25 (just turned on the 2nd of this month.) and my hobbies include; writing, playing guitar and singing, throwing knives, and staying away from old habits.
I like the velvet underground, elliott smith, neutral milk hotel, queens of the stoneage, just to name a few bands. I like stanley kubric films...I'm actually a bit of a movie buff so it's hard to get into what kinda movies I like.
I was happy when they played the yeah yeah yeah's Gold lion at my wedding.
I want them (whoever they may be) to play Celine Dion at my funeral, so that people will feel almost as lousy as me (me being dead and all)
I dont know about the casket....maybe a series of cookie jars... I dont really care.
I'd like to die with lots of other people screaming.
I miss naptime.

I joined so that I could post my little stories and maybe meet cool people.

My name is James and I'm a guy...

this is all kinda disjointed.

I wouldn't say dumbass - just missing some capslock action. There's nothing to fear from the shift key, James!

Welcome, I like most of your music. What kind of stuff do you read?

I really like Oscar Wilde and Stephen King. But, I'm also a huge fan of Orwell and Milton. I want to read more Chuck Phalaniuk, I finished 'Survivor' and I like his prose.
At the moment I'm finishing up 'Notes from underground' by Dostoievski..that's a fuckin' workout. I know russian satire is supposed to be really great, but I just can't get the jokes. I mean they say shit like, "so-and-so was a cruel man because he ate the sausages from minsk" and that's supposed to be funny because, Minsk sausage is made from horses...(ok so that's Bulgakov...but Dostoievski does the same shit)
But you dont know that unless, you're constantly in the glossary or an asshole know it all.
I think I'm going to read some James Joyce Next.

Props for reading Dostoevsky, though that's not the way to spell his name. I could never elect to read the guy if I wasn't forced to, but hey. If you were having trouble with him, good luck with Joyce, man. Just don't go straight to Ulysses...
