Who is the Witch of West Ghent
I am a History teacher, horror writer and general miscreant from Norfolk, Virginia. I went to ODU University. Female, but no lady, my favorite writers are Poe, Mattheson, Lovecraft, Bierce, Vonnegut, Phillip K. Dick, Faulkner and Twain. My favorite movies are too many to mention, but Touch of Evil, Sixth Sense, The Snake Pit, Psycho, The Trouble With Harry and The Uninvited have made the list. I'm never getting married again so there will be no wedding dirge,.... none will be played at my funeral,..... I demand Quaker like silence! I prefer NOT to die in way proceeded by my yelling: "Watch this!" in front of a reality show film crew. No casket for me I want to be lovingly devoured by family and friends,.... one of whom I know will have a bottle of Tabasco in their pocket. I live in black pants, black sweater (blouse), black shoes,.... I hate Summer! I have no ONE favorite band,.... Cramps, Siouxsie, NIN, Ministry, X, Audio Slave,.... Brian Eno is a god. I joined to swarm with my kind.

Interesting. Not digging the cannibal wishes, but the selection of authors (especially Mattheson, Bierce, Vonnegut and Dick) is intriguing.
I definitely like The Trouble with Harry and Touch of Evil (if you like that, do you like the other Welles classics of that era, The Lady From Shanghai and The Third Man? I do!) and share the love for Eno.
My first encounter with Brian's greatness (not counting production work for others) was when I bought Another Green World on a recommendation of a friend and got hooked when I heard the song "Sky Saw". The thing that kills me now is that when I introduce younger friends to that song there is no way to communicate to them what an amazing piece of production that is for having been released in 1975!
Welcome to this place. I look forward to your contributions.

Hm...I just noticed where you are from. I'm from up in Newport News, okay so the far side of Newport News, but that still isn't too terribly far away. I've spent a good bit of time down in Ghent and I'm rather envious of the fact that you live there.

Behold the kind and generous Witch, whose dying wish is to transfer her powers and courage to her friends and loved ones, through sacrifice of her very flesh. I would be honored, were I them, to taste any part.
My first Eno experiance was, of course, the Windows 95 sound. For all you yung un's, http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4146...2000_XP_Sounds
Find it there, or elsewhere if you can--these are torrents.
