Hi there Xng. Thanks. I was lucky enough to win a free place at a private school for the extremely pretentious, (moderately gifted). But in my third year, my sister who was away at boarding school, was seriously injured in a traffic accident and my parents had to spend all their time looking after her. I started playing truant more and more and finally just dropped out. Of course, I'm aware now that I was only seeking their attention. But they of course could not deal with one child who was suddenly extremely handicapped and another who took the opportunity to start behaving just like a Bolshy thirteen year old!!!
