Hi Sarah. If you like Goths and the Gothic, you *are* a Goth. We don't all look like Criss Angel or the girl from Beetlejuice, we don't sit around in cemetaries or always go to the Goth clubs.
Oopsies, I'm overdue for my cemetary visit. See ya later.

Liking something Goth doesn't make you goth.
That doesn't mean you're not welcome here.

Thanks for the welcome, its good to feel I'm not trespassing!
I'm 19, at college in Nottingham, UK, hoping to go to uni next year. Currently I live at home with parents and siblings.
I am more interested in other girls than guys, there is a strong arts element at college, quite a few Goth or Goth infuenced girls in the performing arts and fashion departments, who have sorta caught my eye, at the beginning of last year!
Since then, I have been sorta hooked! I love the confidence they show, the coolness.

doh!
I've just noticed the questions - I love questions and polls!
Here are the original questions to get you started:
Actually, we're changing a few, now that we mention it.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job) Student
2. Where are you from? Nottingham UK
3. Who is your favorite author? Can't choose one, I love books I devour books - last thing I read was by Tanya Huff
4. What are your favorite films? Not really into films
5. What music do you want played at your wedding? Wedding - naw
6. At your funeral? I'm gonna live forever - and if not, I don't care!
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? At a very old age, suddenly from an overdose of lesbian sex!
8. What kind of casket would you want? Just a sheet would be good, green burial.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit? I have a really nice little purple flared skirt, matching shoes and a white crop top - summer only, or my little green bikini - I hate winter.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid? Nothing much, I'm still a kid at heart.
11. What's your favorite band? Not going to embarress myslef by answering this here
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major? I am doing a BTEC National in Forensic Science (University entry evel qualification), hope to study genetics at Uni,
13. Why did you join? I explained that above
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm a girl!

I'm reading a Tanya Huff book at the moment called Smoke and Shadows. I'm really enjoying it. I like Henry, although he doesn't have the oomph that Jean-Claude and Asher from LKH's Anita Blake Series have. And oh boy, do they have some oomph.

So, from your answer to #7, I have a question... I bet you can't guess what it is.

Oh don't worry about that. I probably have the weirdest taste of music here.
